Since the BTS members enlisted, fans have been looking forward to the moments when the group reunites as a whole. Recently, news broke that the 7 BTS members will meet on the day the eldest member Jin is discharged from the military.
Will the BTS members unite to celebrate Jin's discharge? Let's hear the latest response from the group's management company - HYBE below:
As we all know, this June is a month of celebration for BTS and their fans. In particular, this June is also the time when Jin's military service ends. That is why fans are even more excited as June 13 approaches.
In particular, fans' attention on Jin's discharge day has increased even more when Dispatch revealed that the 6 BTS members will welcome the group's eldest member. Specifically, on the 10th, Dispatch reported that the BTS members planned to take a leave to celebrate Jin's discharge together.
It is known that the members originally intended to meet Jin at his barrack together. However, due to concerns about crowded and unsafe conditions, instead of going to meet Jin in front of his unit, they changed their plans to celebrate Jin's discharge somewhere in Seoul. This is the first time this year that all 7 BTS members have met together.
Regarding this issue, a few hours later, a Big Hit Music official said in a statement to My Daily: "We ask for your understanding because it is difficult to confirm this information in general." The same answer was also sent to other media representatives.
But even if Big Hit did not confirm this news, fans are still confident that the information posted is correct. Previously, when the members were serving their military service in the barracks, they took time off for the other members' enlistment days. This BTS tradition has always been maintained until the last members enlisted. So there is no reason why they won't reunite on the day of their discharge.
Meanwhile, Jin enlisted as an active duty sol∂ιєr on December 13, 2022 and is serving as an αѕѕistant instructor at the 5th Infantry Division's recruit training center. Jin's 18-month military service is scheduled to end on June 12. He will return one day before the offline event at '2024 FESTA' in Songpa, Seoul.
Earlier this month, Jin surprised fans by announcing that he would appear in person and celebrate BTS's debut anniversary with ARMYs. Not only that, he also has plans for his solo album, which is expected to be released in the second half of this year. In the near future, ARMYs will no longer be alone when Jin and the other BTS members return one by one.
