These days, ARMYs are likened to m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ wives during World War II because they eagerly wait for news of BTS members in the army. Any news revealed from the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ related to them spread quickly afterward.
Recently, one of the news that caught ARMYs' attention was that Jungkook and Jimin would be able to get a precious day off in the army if they could do this. Fans immediately had a strong belief that the two would make it because Jin had also overcome it before.
For new recruits like Jungkook and Jimin, it will be a valuable and desirable reward for them in their first month of enlistment:
It's been 4 days since Jungkook and Jimin enlisted in the same military recruit training camp at the Army's 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon. Every day, fans look forward to news from them and the other members who are similarly enlisting because this is the first time in 10 years ARMYs cannot meet BTS for a long time.
Any news revealed by the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ related to the group is valuable to fans. And so fans discovered important information about Jimin and Jungkook possibly getting their first chance to rest during their first month of enlistment. Well, it's clearly a luxury for rookies, so this news has fans paying more attention than ever.
Specifically, in a news provided by Yeoncheon Training Center, the army said that after 5 weeks of basic training, Trainee Day event held only by prestigious 5th Division in entire m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷. This is a traditional competition for the new recruits including: Sports competitions, movie nights, band perf, talent shows....
Most notably, the winning rookies will receive worthy rewards after the contest ends. For the winners of sports competitions, all team members will receive dinner expense at PX. For the winners winning in talent show, they will get a vacation day (within unit).
With pop ability and experience participating in sports competitions for idols, fans believe that Jungkook and Jimin are the two top candidates for these awards. They also believe that they will both be able to get the valuable reward of a day-off in the barracks like Jin had previously achieved with his group.
In January this year, a sol∂ιєr who enlisted with Jin revealed that Jin was the captain of one of the groups participating in Trainee Day. Jin's group chose dancing for the talent show and he also taught dancing to his group members. In the end, Jin's team won first prize at this competition thanks to an impressive performance and of course, he and his teammates got a 1-day vacation as a reward.
Fans believe that Jimin and Jungkook can also follow in Jin's footsteps, win this award and even use it on Jin's day off for the three of them to meet in the army. Although it's too early to talk about competitions or rewards since they've only been in the army for a few days, it's really a big goal for both of them:
