Jungkook has long been one of the most prominent BTS members when it comes to building his physique. Over time, this pαѕѕion seems to have spread to the other members as well, especially V. During his military service, V became one of the members who underwent the most noticeable physical transformation, going from a slim, boyish-looking guy to the muscular member of the SDT special forces unit. As time went on, V and Jungkook increasingly showed that they were among the most pαѕѕionate and disciplined BTS members when it came to physical training.
Interestingly, during a livestream, V once shared that among the BTS members, he had recently been working out with j-hope and Jungkook because the three of them had fairly similar workout habits, especially Jungkook. During a livestream after their concert in Toronto, j-hope also revealed that Jungkook and V even went to the gym right after finishing an intense performance. Watching the stamina of the two younger members, j-hope couldn’t help but exclaim: “Wow, man, I was like, 'These guys are incredible.' They just went to work out. Seriously amazing. I mean, how are they even working out?”
Meanwhile, the story of Jungkook and V’s workout sessions in Toronto was later revealed in more detail by a gym staff member, giving fans even more interesting details to talk about!
According to a post shared on Xiaohongshu, a staff member at a gym in ¢αиα∂α said that Jungkook and V used the entire gym privately, without any other guests present. When an ARMY asked how many days they had gone to the gym in total, the staff member estimated, “About four days, I think? I didn’t see them on the first day.”
When another fan asked whether V and Jungkook had gone all four days and whether any of the other members had joined them, the staff member replied that it seemed like the two of them were the only ones going together. Interestingly, the staff member also revealed an adorable side of the two stars while they were working out: “They got so hyped up. They took their shirts off and were yelling like crazy — they were being pretty rowdy, hahaha.”
Following this account, another staff member at the same gym also shared her experience of personally welcoming the two BTS superstars during the three days they were in Toronto. She recalled that after their performance on Saturday, Jungkook and V arrived at the gym around 11 p.m. while it was pouring rain. She stayed after her working hours and specially opened the gym so the two members could work out privately for about two hours.
According to her, both of them bowed and waved before entering and again when they were leaving. In particular, after they had already reached the entrance, Jungkook actually turned back just to shake her hand after seeing her wave goodbye and hug her manager. The moment left her full of praise: “Even if you're not a fan, you have to be moved by how polite and disciplined they are!” She also noted, “Since I had to respect their rules, I didn't ask for photos or autographs, so here's a pic someone posted on IG instead.”
What impressed the staff member even more was the way the two members refused the free perk. Initially, the gym offered to let them use the facility for free, but Jungkook and V did not want to receive any special treatment. Even though they did not come on Sunday, they still insisted on paying. The staff member recalled that the translator and team leader even made it clear that they “weren't leaving until we pay,” although the manager ultimately refused to accept the payment.
“Basically they just wouldn't take the free private session perk, but were totally fine with paying for it themselves,” she shared, adding that this allowed her to close up the gym and literally sit right next to the two members while they worked out.
