BTS has no shortage of talented dancers, but j-hope holds an important position and is called the “dance leader” of the group. Now that BTS has become a global Kpop superstar, he has made the media ask the question “What would BTS be like without the almighty j-hope?”
It is clear that j-hope’s importance, popularity, and influence are undeniable. But there are still many toxic individuals who still attack j-hope and slander him badly, especially in the new post on his new Tiktok account.
Fans have been fιgнтing hard in the past few hours to protect j-hope from these negative comments:
On January 24, fans were overjoyed to discover that -hope had opened a public TikTok account. He is the second member of the group to use this social media platform. Previously, in 2023, Jungkook α¢¢ι∂єитally made his personal Tiktok account public and caused a stir on social media.
Just like when using Instagram, j-hope also showed that he is an expert when he regularly updates videos on his account. So far, this idol has owned 4 funny and dancing videos with tens of millions of likes. The most prominent of which is the video of a TikTok trend following the song "Denial Is A River" by αмєяι¢αn musician Doechii, with 39 million likes.
Although this video is loved by many due to j-hope's funny and adorable scenes, fans also noticed that there are a few negative comments aimed at him. Specifically, many comments claimed that j-hope used Doechii's song for “clout” following her Grammy win. On February 2, Doechii won the Grammy for "Best Rap Album," an emotional achievement for an artist who has been active since 2016.
Since then, the wave of hate directed at the idol has spread rapidly, not only on Tiktok but also on X. Negative comments include:
- he wants clout coz he's flopping
- STOP HARASSING BLACK WOMEN
- he just joined a trend this is such jobless behaviour
- baby, that's a BTS member...... like...let's not play dumb and pretend they aren't extremely famous worldwide and at least he isn't struggling to fill his concert venues like others (who have fans that are loud and like to flex non existent achievements)
- why is his ugly αѕѕ on my timeline with his dumb faces
- I actually got a jumpscare when I saw him on fyp so same
In the face of these baseless accusations, ARMYs were quick to defend j-hope and the hilarious video. Some even mentioned that Doechii had mentioned BTS in one of her songs before. On the other hand, some believe that this could indicate an upcoming collaboration between the two artists:
- her being a fan of bts herself what are you talking about
- Imagine being a black woman and using a topic like that to make a disgusting tweet cause you're so obsessed with BTS that you fяєαк out over a tiktok trend. bunch of mentally ill. when people invalidate you in real life, remember how much you don't take it seriously either.
- how is this harrasment? make it make sense. He is just enjoying and vibing to a song, that's it and that made you mad?? be f*cking fr now, jobless ριє¢є σf ѕнιт
- What is your standard for good looks?just curious
- Shut up and get a life you ugly a*s let me see how you look loser
- J-HOPE DANCING TO DOECHII ON TIKTOK?!?!?! ALL THATS LEFT IS A COLLAB AHELWHEKEEHEJ
- nobody wants her clout they just respect eo as artists
To become an idol, beauty is an important factor at first. Idols with outstanding looks seem to have a 50% chance of shining as soon as they debut… but j-hope is the complete opposite. When BTS first debuted, j-hope was always the target of attacks because of his unattractive appearance.
One anecdote that ARMYs probably never forget is that j-hope used to wear a mask to perform because of his insecurity about his appearance. But now, everything has changed, j-hope makes global fans crazy because of his confidence, dancing ability, shining visual as well as his top influence. It is also him who 9 years later became the first кσяєαn artist to appear on the main stage of one of the biggest music festivals in the US, Lollapalooza.
So now, no matter who belittles or defames him, fans will not easily let them go!
