If you are a Kpop fan in general and ARMY in particular, you are probably no stranger to the dog Yeontan. Since Yeontan was first introduced by V in 2017, this pet has become a famous superstar all over the world.

Recently, fans were ѕнσ¢кed to receive news of his pαѕѕing from his father. But remembering what V shared about Yeontan's health in recent years, ARMYs realized that he was very resilient to be with V and fans longer.

Fans these days cannot contain their emotions when they know the cause of Yeontan's ∂єαтн:

V shared a statement on his Instagram Stories about the pαѕѕing of his beloved dog Yeontan this Monday. He subtly mentioned, “Actually, the reason I’m writing this post today is that recently, Yeontan has embarked on a long journey to the dog stars. I thought a lot about how to tell you this, but I felt it was right to share this news with ARMY, who have shown so much love for Yeontan".

Yeontan first appeared to fans in 2017, through a live broadcast by V. This Black Tan Pomeranian quickly won the hearts of fans for its cuteness and the touching affection V had for the pet. Since then, Yeontan has become a part of the BTS family, even being affectionately called the "8th member" of the group.

That's why V announced the sad news to fans and ARMYs all over the world who couldn't help but grieve over Yeontan's pαѕѕing. Meanwhile, many fans were surprised by this news because before V enlisted in the army, they still updated pictures of the dog. However, if you remember, Yeontan's father once shared about his poor health in recent years.

Specifically, in a live broadcast, V once mentioned the story of adopting Yeontan, who had been in poor health since birth. In another program, V elaborated on the fact that Yeontan had a serious heart ∂ιѕєαѕє and always had difficulty breathing when doing strenuous activities. Yeontan even had to undergo two major surgeries that were so serious that he was at risk of ∂єαтн. Although the puppy survived, both surgeries were unsuccessful.

From these shares, it can be seen that Yeontan's health was affected by a congenital ∂ιѕєαѕє and over time, it became weaker and weaker. But over the past 7 years, V's pet puppy has had a strong will to survive. He and V have had many beautiful memories, even a solo album to commemorate the short but happy time together.

So, while mourning the pαѕѕing of the adorable pup, fans also hope that he will be healthy and pain-free in the new world:

- many pure breed dogs have breathing issues like this, it’s not anything that can be fixed within the dog but rather we need to stop pure breeding poms :(
