Fact Check: Jin Will Comeback On This May?

These days, j-hope is very active with the release of a new song and the continuation of his overseas tour. Meanwhile, fans can only see Jin in a few episodes of entertainment programs or events of the brand he is an ambαѕѕador for.

Jin's rare appearances make fans miss him more than ever and of course, rumors about BTS's eldest brother preparing for new projects have also begun to spread.

A few hours ago, a post on SNS attracted great attention from fans with the title "[EXCLUSIVE] Kmedia reports Jin has confirmed his solo comeback in May 2025. Following the release of “Happy” on the 15th November, Jin is once again preparing for an extraordinary music journey." Along with that, a link to the largest portal in кσяєα was attached.

Not only this post, another post later with similar surprising content was also pαѕѕed around by netizens. The post included a caption that "wdym there is a rumored japanese album from seokjin??" and a photo taken from an Janpanese online newspaper named Modelpress.

At first, these posts excited netizens and they kept expressing their surprise at the new news about Jin. But then, when fans clicked on the attached link, they found out that it was just a "hoax".

It turns out that today is April Fool's Day! So, many fans were disappointed after learning that there was no comeback from Jin this May.

However, fans don't need to despair too much. It is worth noting that even if it may not be a solo album or new song release, it could very well be a tour.

This was revealed by Jin's close friend, chef Lee Yeon Bok, at the press conference for KBS's Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant on March 27. When the reporter suggested that chef Lee invite Jin to the show because of their cute friendship shown in previous shows, he made a surprising revelation.

"BTS' Jin asked me to teach him how to toss a wok, so I was going to teach him, but I heard there's a nationwide tour starting in April. If a celeb is that sincere about cooking, that's enough. I'll gladly help", he shared.

Lee Yeon Bok's hint has sparked fans' speculation about Jin's upcoming activities. It's very possible that the project that chef Lee is referring to is Jin's upcoming "tour."

Most BTS members like SUGA and j-hope go on their world tours after releasing solo albums. Jin also released his album "Happy" last November, and he has plenty of time to prepare for his upcoming concert.

On the other hand, j-hope will end his world tour on June 1. So, it is not out of the question that ARMYs need to prepare mentally, financially, and physically because Jin will probably be the 3rd BTS member to hold his own concert soon.
