Today, December 11, 2023, RM and V will reportedly begin their five weeks of basic training at the Nonsan Military Recruit Training Center in Chungcheongnam. After Jin, j-hope and SUGA, RM and V are the next members to enlist as active duty soldíєrs while Jimin and Jungkook will enlist tomorrow, one day later.
Before the moment of enlisting, both RM and V shared their sadness at having to say goodbye to their fans for a long time. However, both of them showed readiness and a positive spirit for this enlistment process. While RM wrote: "I believe this will be some strange and new period of inspiration and learning for us in 18 months. It is long if it is long and short if it is short.
