Even Military Service Can't Prevent Jungkook From “Annoying“ Jin

Jin and Jungkook have an energy similar to the never-ending rival duo Tom & Jerry from the popular cartoon of the same name. Even though Jin is the eldest in the group and is 5 years younger than Jungkook, the youngest member, the two are very compatible when it comes to pranks.

There is a pure joy when these two interact and ARMYs never get tired of it. Fans often describe their unique friendship with the words “chaotic,” “competitive,” and “always entertaining.”

But since BTS started their military service, Jin and Jungkook haven’t had many opportunities to have fun together, making fans miss them a lot. But not only fans, but even Jin misses his youngest and their games.

He once mentioned Jungkook in an interview saying: "I miss my members these days, going solo gets kind of boring sometimes. If there's Jungkook, I can play fιgнт with him, just bother him fornthe sake of it. That's what I'm used to but now I don't have members, theres staff only, I can't play fιgнт with the staffs so I miss my members a lot".

Meanwhile, even though Jungkook is in the military, he never stops making Jin “annoying”.

In an episode of Run Jin with guest actor Lee Yi Kyung, the two challenged their tennis talents with a pair of young tennis players. Before the match, Jin asked the kids to name their favorite idols and was ѕнσ¢кed when the first kid chose Jungkook.

The staff laughed as Lee Yi Kyung tried to calm Jin down by telling him that the kid was just being honest. Jin then tried to ask the second kid the same question despite claiming that he “doesn’t care about such things”.

Jin even suggested to the girl that her favorite idol doesn’t have to be a BTS member, it could be any idol. But ironically, even the girl chose Jungkook.

In response, Jin playfully kicked both tennis players off the court as Lee Yi Kyung tried to calm him down. While Jin probably wanted to be voted the most popular idol among kids, he admitted — or rather, shouted — that he liked Jungkook too.

“Jungkook” has seemingly never left his mind since his discharge from the military. When asked by Kian84 of Kian’s Bizarre B&B about two BTS members he would recommend for Season 2 of the show, he immediately named Jungkook and RM.

He named Jungkook as suitable member for the show because he is the one "who works very hard, cooks more professionally than I do, and has much better stamina."

While Jungkook may not be reunited with Jin, he is clearly still a presence in his brother’s life. In just 50 days, fans will be able to witness the “chaotic friendship” of the two BTS brothers firsthand.
