ELLE Magazine Omits Jungkook And V From The Group, Issues A Statement

BTS has always existed with 7 members and without one person, BTS has no complete meaning anymore. ARMY and BTS always cherish this and always fιgнт hard to protect all 7 members.

However, it seems that some media or even reputable newspapers regularly disrespect the 7 members of BTS. They even misspelled the name or listed мιѕѕιиg members of BTS when they are a globally famous group.

This recently happened in ELLE H̸o̸n̸g̸ ̸K̸o̸n̸g̸'s latest magazine in March and it caused a stir among fans. Although the newspaper later gave an official explanation, fans still couldn't help but be bored with the way a famous newspaper like ELLE works:

Stories about the media or the press mentioning the wrong, мιѕѕιиg or wrong names of BTS members are no longer strange to ARMYs. Although many times ARMYs have spoken out and criticized the newspapers and media for not respecting the members of the group, but there are many companies, newspapers, and media outlets that ignore this.

That has been the frustration of ARMYs for many years now. It's hard to understand that a famous group like BTS can encounter these cases just because of the ignorance and short-sightedness of the content producers. Even they are in the field of information - entertainment but do not learn carefully about the world's top star.

The latest case that happened recently that made ARMYs angry is that ELLE H̸o̸n̸g̸ ̸K̸o̸n̸g̸ made a mistake when providing information about BTS members in the newspaper where Jimin is their cover star. It's an unprofessional way of working that ELLE H̸o̸n̸g̸ ̸K̸o̸n̸g̸ for Jimin and the team.

Specifically, Jimin is the new cover star of ELLE H̸o̸n̸g̸ ̸K̸o̸n̸g̸ in March. He makes a strong impression in a dreamlike photo that makes us ecstatic with his charisma. The end result is a masterpiece and ARMYs are looking forward to it.

Although Jimin's appearance on the cover of the magazine is absolutely perfect, the content of the cover text of the story contains an unacceptable error for an agency as large as ELLE. Many ARMYs discovered that V and Jungkook were a̾c̾c̾i̾d̾e̾n̾tally omitted from the intro. While only 5 names of BTS members are mentioned.

The introduction introduces Jimin and his group, where ELLE provides each member's name including only Jimin, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope. It's unbelievable that two extremely popular members of the group like V and Jungkook are not listed as members of BTS.

After receiving feedback from ARMYs and the incident became noticeable, ELLE staff quickly changed the online version. The online version of the cover story was quickly edited to reflect all seven members.

The magazine later issued an apology through their official social media channels, apologizing to fans for the negligence. On the official Instagram page, ELLE Hong Kong mentionend: "The cover story for the March issue of Elle HK (page 56) mentions five members, RM (Kim Namjoon), Jin (Kim Seokjin), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), and Jimin (Park Jimin).

This should be seven members, Jin (Kim Seokjin), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), RM (Kim Namjoon), Jimin (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung), and Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook). The article mistakenly omitted two members. We are deeply sorry and would like to sincerely apologize for causing inconvenience to top ḳöŕệän group BTS’s seven members and their fans."

But the way a big newspaper like ELLE works, makes ARMYs extremely disappointed, even many people think that there is no reason why ELLE can't understand BTS's news well. Because this is not the first time they collaborate with BTS:

- Jimin is wonderful yes for ELLE H̸o̸n̸g̸ ̸K̸o̸n̸g̸!, but the MATERIAL NEEDS TO BE REVISED!

- BTS are 07 MEMBERS and not 05 as they wrote and quoted in the names.

- They always make everything to be stuff

- Why don't they always make fault when mentioning BTS?

- I can't believe that they didn't know how members BTS are

Although the digital copy was easily repaired, the print copies would have no choice but to make the mistake on page 56. It also means that the newspaper with Jimin's picture on the cover is no longer perfect as it should be!
