Charlie Puth's manager is facing a huge wave of outrage when using insensitive words to explain the company's poor PR strategy for the Charlie Puth and Jungkook collaboration song. She even indirectly mocked the song Bad Decisions.
This makes ARMYs even more upset because of what Charlie Puth's agency did to Jungkook's collaboration!
The person at the center of the criticism is Ty Stiklorius. She is known as the founder, CEO and manager of Friends At Work. Ty Stiklorius is also a curator for artists Charlie Puth and John Legend.
Specifically, the story begins with producer Benny Blanco's collaboration with BTS' vocal line (Jungkook, Jin, V and Jimin) and Snoop Dogg for "Bad Decisions" which achieved great success. . But the irony is that not long ago, Charlie Puth and Jungkook collaborated for "Left and Right" - one of the long-awaited collaborations.
With the success of “Bad Decions”, some fans of Puth expressed their disappointment that despite their best efforts, “Left and Right” still did not enter the charts despite the collaboration with BTS. Even the long and unflinching promotions caused fans to call out his management company's name because of their bad way of working and strategy for the two artists.
However, later, they received an unsatisfactory answer from Charlie Puth's manager. Ty Stiklorius responded to the tweet by reassuring fans that the strategies for "Left and Right" are working over time.
If she stopped there, perhaps she had a safe answer. But no, she even kicked Bad Decisions. She wrote:
ARMYs were shocked by her reaction, calling it "unprofessional". Many fans also expressed that they feel like Charlie Puth and Jungkook are the only ones promoting “Left and Right”. Meanwhile, the company and management did not support them well during the product launch.
In fact, the release of the "Left and Right" music video was delayed without explanation, leaving Charlie Puth confused. Not only did Charlie Puth have to deal with this on his own, but he was constantly promoting “Left and Right” on Twitter and TikTok.
Interestingly enough, though, someone allegedly doesn’t like Charlie Puth’s strategy with TikTok. Benny Blanco has made fun of the artist by stitching several of Puth’s videos.
Charlie Puth has previously claimed that the beef between Blanco and him is fake. They’re actually friends and have even collaborated. But he has been baffled about it and expressed his hurt.
Overall, through tweets from Charlie Puth's manager, the situation is even worse. While it was a fun and wonderful collaboration between the two artists, it's really unwise to lash out at another BTS collaboration!
