Among them, Choi Mujin has been one of the favorite hairstylists of V and several BTS members since 2019. With years of experience styling “the Most Handsome Man in the World,” Choi naturally sparked curiosity about how he creates V’s signature looks. Fortunately, in a special interview with Elevate Seoul, fans were finally able to hear him share his insights on working with the top K-Pop superstar.

When asked whether he had any specific tips or techniques for styling V, hairstylist Choi made a small but notable revelation — he openly praised V’s visuals, admitting that the idol looks incredibly handsome even without much styling or makeup. He said: "To be honest, he's so handsome that he doesn't even need styling! I try to make his natural charm stand out as much as possible, just styling to match the mood of the day!”

Choi Mujin also revealed that V’s natural hair is straight with a slight natural wave, especially when it gets longer or humid. He also has fairly thick and healthy hair despite frequently using heat styling and bleaching/dyeing it. Because of this, his hair holds its shape well with many different hairstyles and concepts.

Meanwhile, V recently drove global fans into a frenzy with his striking presence and unique two-toned hairstyle during the concert series in мєχι¢σ, evoking the image of a character straight out of a comic book. He recorded the highest number of social media mentions for two consecutive days, while his search volume reached a full 100% peak on Google Trends in мєχι¢σ. Local media even coined the term “V-effect” to describe the explosive reactions from fans that day.

Against this backdrop, Choi’s comments about V spread even more rapidly across social media. Fans also expressed agreement with the hairstylist’s remarks about V’s visuals, saying that his comments perfectly reflected the truth: V’s appearance suits almost every hairstyle he chooses.
