Throughout the ARIRANG world tour, which will continue through 2027, BTS introduced a special segment called "Surprise Songs" as a gift for fans around the world. At each stop, a DJ randomly selects two songs from BTS's discography since their debut and plays them live during the concert. True to its name, not only the fans but even the members themselves have no idea which songs will be chosen until the music begins. That element of surprise has made the "Surprise Songs" segment one of the most anticipated moments of every show.
On the first night in Munich, BTS performed "Pied Piper"—a song inspired by Germany's own legend of the Pied Piper of Hamelin—along with "Silver Spoon (Baepsae)," complete with its iconic hip thrust choreography. The excitement continued on the second night when the group performed "Blood Sweat & Tears" and, most notably, "Louder Than Bombs" live for the very first time after years of anticipation. The moment the opening notes rang out, the entire stadium erupted into deafening cheers from tens of thousands of ARMYs.
Even after the performance ended, both BTS and the au∂ιєnce were still immersed in the song, ultimately leading to an amusing—and somewhat confusing—conversation. It all began when Jungkook suddenly remarked, "You're looking a bit ѕєχy ѕєχy today," prompting SUGA to ask, "Why do you like Louder Than Bombs so much anyway?" His question appeared to refer to the explosive reaction from the crowd, which made the members realize just how beloved the song is among fans.
What caught even more attention, however, were Jungkook's follow-up comments. He repeatedly described the song by saying, "The lyrics are originally pretty suggestive," before adding, "Looking at it now, the lyrics are kinda ѕєχy." His remarks immediately left the other members visibly confused. Jimin responded with a puzzled, "Where?" while RM, sounding as though he thought he had misheard, asked, "Which part is suggestive? The lyrics to Louder Than Bombs?" Faced with the members' surprise and confusion, Jungkook simply replied: "Is it not? I mean, the overall song has that vibe!"
The exchange quickly spread across social media, where it has since amαѕѕed more than 200,000 engagements. Many fans couldn't help but laugh at the fact that Jungkook seemed to be the only member who interpreted "Louder Than Bombs" in such a completely different way from the rest of the group.
In reality, "Louder Than Bombs" is widely known as one of BTS's darkest and most emotionally profound songs. It explores themes of pain, fear, emotional wounds, and confronting one's inner self. That's precisely why Jungkook's υиєχρє¢тє∂ description of the song as "ѕєχy" caught both the members and fans off guard. As a result, the conversation unintentionally became one of the funniest and most endearing moments of the night in the eyes of ARMY.
That said, many fans could also understand what Jungkook might have meant. Rather than referring to the song's actual meaning, they believed he was talking about its atmosphere, instrumentals, and the captivating way it translates to the stage. One fan commented: "Jungkook is right, it does give a haunting and ѕєχy vibe IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE LYRICS. The instrumentals and the high vocals make it seem like a ѕєχy/seductive vibe, I guess."

Many other fans also left amusing reactions to the superstars' "confusing" conversation:
- JK must have soмєтнing on his mind, and it aint that song! What a hilarious conversation to have in front of an au∂ιєnce who probably can't understand what they h3ll they are saying
- Nobody is replying to anyone, all just repeating their points. And Are we sure we are listening to the same song with Jungkook?
- Here Kook just outright looks at us as pervs but babie that’s literally our cry song what dyu mean suggestive how can i not think of that anymore?
- Me trying to find the s3xy tht Jungkook Jeon speaking about coz I remember filling buckets with tears everytime I listen to it Jungkook your are seriously not being reasonable right now
- Omg Jungkook gets it all BTS dark and sad songs are S3XY. But in the name of all parallel universes WTF just happened. My b9dtly doesn't know how to react to this
- Part of the charm is because it's so ∂αми good and so ∂αми sad but also so hopeful???? And the other part is that the song is almost like a unicorn for every army it's almost a waste of a Goat never sung live. All's well now but also all is well
- i rmr crying to this song in the middle of a depressive episode but sure kookie s3xy it is
- It’s so funny that BTS members mostly do not know these lyrics and did not know that it is ARMY’s unicorn song. The only one who knows the lyrics for sure is Namjoon, who wrote them. I remember him saying in the live about the album that he cried when he wrote these lyrics.
