BTS World Tour Will Take Place In 2026 After Jin's Ep.Tour Ends

With only 2 members discharged from the military, Jin and j-hope, fans have not had a single day of "rest" since last June. A series of music products from singles to solo albums, to entertainment programs, variety shows, and continuing to concerts.

The fandom has revived its usual energetic atmosphere after more than 2 years of gloom due to the members' military service!

On the other hand, Jin recently ѕнσ¢кed fans when he released news of his first solo tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP TOUR, across four territories: кσяєα, נαραи, North αмєяι¢α, and Europe starting from June 28 and ending on August 10.

The 18-night tour reflects the meaning of Jin personally running to meet fans all over the world, symbolizing the "journey" to meet ARMYs. While the news has most fans excited, it is also shaking up hopes for BTS's world tour as a full group in the second half of 2025.

Since 6 months ago, fans have been expressing their hopes for BTS to return to the stage as a full group of 7 soon after their discharge from the military this June. Especially after BIGHIT released a fan questionnaire on April 10 about which BTS concert ARMY will relive, their hopes have increased.

Now, Jin's solo concert is scheduled, the group's tour in late 2025 is less likely. However, fans are still holding out hope as the light of the BTS World Tour 2026 is shining.

Mr. Lee Hwa Jung, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, made a prediction about BTS's comeback time after the members are discharged from the military.

Accordingly, the global boy group is expected to release a full album in the second half of 2025. This is considered an extremely important milestone to mark HYBE's revenue growth. Next, Mr. Lee also analyzed that BTS will hold a world tour in 2026 to maximize the influence and profit from the album.

On the other hand, this schedule is also consistent with rumors that Jungkook or even Jimin will start their tour in late 2025, before BTS returns to group activities. Therefore, it is possible that the OT7 concert will not be canceled—just postponed to 2026.

Previously, on March 31, кσяєαn time, shareholders gathered at the annual board meeting of HYBE Labels chaired by CEO Lee Jae Sang. During the board meeting, CEO Lee was asked about BTS' plans to resume activities in 2025.

He responded, "All of the members will be discharged from their military service duties this year." However, the HYBE Labels CEO maintained a cautious stance as he added on, "Upon their return, the members need plenty of time to prepare."

According to Lee Jae Sang, "The company is currently proceeding with the necessary preparations, holding talks with top music producers. But this matter also requires significant deliberation from the perspectives of the members. Typically, artists work on an album, release that album, and then embark on a tour. However, BTS are artists of top global status, and this status demands a careful evaluation of the group's vision for what is 'next'."

On the other hand, when asked about the expected sales when BTS returns, HYBE Labels' CFO Lee Kyung Joon also mentioned "next year": "We are still in the process of discussing the group's promotion plans for 2026. Therefore, we do not have any projections laid out at this time."
