For ARMYs, BTS-related products don't just stop at albums, merch, MVs, etc., but also online games. Therefore, it also seems to be another wonderful world that ARMYs can learn about and enjoy group-related content.

However, recently, Netmarble announced the discontinuation of one of the famous games related to BTS - BTS World. This makes many fans ̾s̾h̾o̾c̾ked and regretful because they have not even completed the rounds in this online game.

Below are fans' reactions to the sudden end of BTS World:

As many fans know, BTS World is a kσrєαn mobile video game developed by Takeone Company Corp and produced by Netmarble. In it, the player will act as the manager of BTS, going through various journeys with each of the 7 members from 2012, before the group's debut, to 2019.

Since BTS Worlds is in the visual novel style, much of the story in the game relies on clicks through interactions between the user and the game characters. The game uses real photos and voice recordings of the characters. BTS members, so it makes fans have a more authentic feeling of interacting with the group.

At the time of its debut, BTS World became a craze and was loved when it brought a new world experience with Kpop idols. The group also puts a lot of effort and has a lot of content pre-recorded by BTS as gifts for players when completing rounds.

However, after 3 years of release, BTS World recently announced that it will discontinue the service at the end of December. In a statement shared on BTS World's official English forum, Netmarble announced the end of the game's services. The game is no longer available to download from the Play Store or App Store.

Specifically, the announcement includes: "Hello, this is the BTS WORLD MANAGER.

Thank you for your love and support for BTS WORLD.
This announcement is to inform that BTS WORLD will be discontinuing its service starting Tuesday, December 26 2023.

We really appreciate your love and support for the BTS WORLD,
and we will do our best to minimize your inconvenience until the end of the service day.

※ You can play your game on devices that have already installed it until the service termination date.
※ An error pop-up will occur when trying to access the Purchase/Advertisement after blocked.

3. Official Forum Closing Date : Friday, March 29 2024, 11:00
※ You can’t use the official forum after shutting down.
Please make sure to personally save essential data before the closing date.

■ Notice about Facebook Account Linking/Log-in issue.

This means there will be no more updates to the game, and Netmarble has even made the game a little easier as a thank you to fans, increasing the drop rate of 5-star cards and providing grants more gems to players. They also opened the DNA store and made it possible to buy every card, not just a select few.

Not only that, with this announcement, BTS World becomes the second BTS game to be discontinued. Back in June 2020, SuperStar BTS ended its service despite receiving praise for its gameplay and card collection system.

Currently, BTS World is nearing the end of its era, but there are many fans who still haven't finished the game. That's why ARMYs are asking NetMarble to release an archive of BTS filmed and recorded content specifically for the game:

- Does a content archive exist? It’s upsetting to think about how much will be ℓσѕт—from the card photos, to the storylines most people never got to play to :/

- I believe there should be a card archive somewhere i saw previously. But The videos are one of the things that worries me more because the app doesn’t allow screen recording. So I wonder if anyone had compiled all the videos

- there are so many. Plus the actual gameplay, since so few people got through it—I played almost daily from release until July 2022 and still had a substantial amount left

- I been army for 4 years but couldn't play it I regret it now

- i thought even without any updates I could still open the game for a long time. man. do you know how many content is in this game.... I hope someone made an archive....

- the end of an era :((( they're also closing the forum next week. man. where am I supposed to run to now if twitter is being stupid? weverse????

- Oh no. I love this game. I've logged in every day since I started playing in July 2019...practically my entire ARMY existence. This is so very sad. I'm thankful we had the game while we could. I wish it could be around until the guys get back from service.
