In July of this year, BTS announced that they would release a new album in the spring of next year and kick off a large-scale world tour—one that industry observers predict could last up to eight months. Recently, the group has begun to “warm up” by sharing photos on social media of the members gathering together and practicing as a team. Most notably, on the afternoon of the 16th, BTS υиєχρє¢тє∂ly sent an early year-end greeting to fans through a live broadcast streamed directly from their practice room.
For fans, this came as a precious emotional gift, further reigniting the already heated atmosphere within the global fandom, with only half a month left until the point at which the group has promised to return as a complete lineup. Notably, this live broadcast took place four months after BTS’s most recent OT7 live, which occurred while the members were in the United States focusing on the production of their new album.
During the conversation, as they shared recent updates, RM did not hide his impatience, saying, “It’s really frustrating. Isn’t it that we can’t talk about everything we’re preparing?” He then went on to wonder aloud, “I don’t know when the company is going to announce it.” In response, SUGA reαѕѕured him by saying, “I heard it will be announced soon,” subtly hinting that “soмєтнing new—important and exciting”—is currently in the works.

Although they could not specify what the long-awaited announcement would be, and despite RM, Jimin, and j-hope all admitting that waiting for HYBE to take action has made them increasingly impatient, the members quickly shifted the conversation to a topic that could be discussed more openly—yet was no less exciting for ARMYs: the prospect of a grand year-end live broadcast featuring all seven members, soмєтнing the fandom has been waiting for throughout at least three years of BTS’s hiatus from full-group activities.
The discussion began when V read fans’ comments in the live chat and relayed them to the members, saying, “They want us to come often.” j-hope immediately responded enthusiastically, “Come often? Let’s come then,” while SUGA added in a more practical tone, “Yeah, soon, cause we only have practices anyway,” earning agreement from Jimin, who replied, “Right.”
The atmosphere quickly became more animated when j-hope took the lead and suggested, “Let’s do again? What do you wanna do?” Jin then proposed a more organized approach, saying, “If so, then let’s just set a time and do it like this later maybe year-end or beginning.” Hearing this, j-hope excitedly asked, “Should we do it properly?” to which Jin responded decisively, “Of course we can.”
From that point on, ideas for a more “official-looking” live broadcast began to take shape. Emphasizing the importance of all seven members being together, V called out, “Gather x3.” j-hope jokingly brought up Jin’s role, asking, “Okay, then will hyung be cooking up some dishes?” At that moment, Jungkook suddenly chimed in with a bolder idea: “Hold on! Then should we all dress up in suits?”
The suggestion momentarily flustered j-hope, who quickly cautioned the youngest member, saying, “Watch what you say.” However, the topic of wearing suits immediately caught the attention of Jin, who asked with interest, “Wear suits?” SUGA followed up with a realistic αѕѕessment, “Ah then we’d have to wear a suit and come for real.” Jimin expressed his enthusiasm with, “I like the idea,” and RM promptly agreed, saying, “Me too!”
The discussion continued to build momentum when RM excitedly asked, “Do you wanna wear a suit in a long time?” Jimin replied cryptically, “Let’s show them what’s right in a long time.” Jungkook took the idea even further, proposing, “Wear a suit, and you can even get your hair, makeup done!”
Although SUGA initially voiced mild opposition, saying, “No let’s do it,” and Jin suggested that each member wear soмєтнing that suited them individually, the conversation ultimately continued to revolve around the idea of a carefully prepared live broadcast, from outfits to overall presentation. The moment RM suddenly realized, “HOLD ON, So, we’re getting our hair and makeup done?” followed by Jungkook’s confirmation, “Yeah, cause we’re setting up the camera and everything,” brought the conversation to a close amid laughter and palpable excitement.
Even within today’s single live broadcast, the sheer number of plans being discussed for BTS’s year-end activities has left fans unable to sit still, mentally preparing themselves for a busy and explosive end to the year. After three long years of waiting, ARMYs have finally reclaimed this familiar feeling—expressing that they have never felt happier. "Almost 3 years ago, the devastation of Jin being 1st to go, the fear of the unknown and what lay ahead. That day was so difficult. BUT BTS & ARMY made it through. Future is here and it is sparkling with joy", one fan commented.
