The last BTS members like RM, Jimin, Jungkook and V are entering their final days preparing for m̴i̴l̴i̴t̴a̴r̴y̴ service. On the 5th of this month, вιg нιт Music on behalf of BTS said through Weverse: "RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook will fulfill their required time with the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ by enlisting in the army. RM and V will be enlisting according to their respective procedures, while Jimin and Jung Kook are scheduled to enlist together. Please note that there will be no official event on the day of their entry."
Previously, ḳöŕệän media also released some news related to the exact enlistment time of the members. Accordingly, RM and V will enlist on December 11 at Nonsan Training Center. Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook will enlist 1 day later at Yeoncheon Training Center on December 12.
With the decision of the last members of BTS to enlist, the group is expected to return in 2025 completely. However, this also means that BTS will be absent for at least the first half of 2024 until Jin is discharged from the army in June of the same year. During this time, the members have prepared a lot of content to fill the void in ARMYs' hearts.
Therefore, these days ARMYs still encounter some members focusing on completing their final content. For example, RM was seen hanging out with his friends but did not forget his duties while filming for a certain project until these last days.
Along with that, RM's sister also shared some moments when their family ate together at his farewell party before enlisting in the army. Meanwhile, on December 8, Jungkook did a live broadcast for fans on Weverse Live before leaving. But besides that, he also pointed out that he spent these last days with his family and his pet dog Jeon Bam. Bam is still training at the professional training school but it seems Jungkook has welcomed him home these days. Jungkook also expressed his feelings for Bam when talking to Bam that: "Dad will go and come back from the m̴i̴l̴i̴t̴a̴r̴y̴!". He even mentioned: "In 2025, I think like half of it will be full of Bam! I don't have an Instagram but there's a chance that Bam might get an Instagram! Possibly".
Similar to the other members, V also spent the remaining days gathering with members of Wooga Squad. He updated photos with Park Hyungsik and fans believe they had an early birthday party for V because they couldn't celebrate his December 30th birthday with him. That makes fans feel emotional!
Recently, V also posted a photo of him playing golf with friends and family because this is one of his top hobbies. Well, it may be like having to wait another year and 6 months before V can return to this place, but I believe that in the special forces camp there will be many interesting things waiting for him.
