BTS Members’ Reactions to Justin Bieber’s Arrival in Seoul Draw Major Attention

Early in the morning on October 23, Justin Bieber arrived in South кσяєα through Incheon International Airport with his wife, Hailey Bieber. This marks his first visit to the country in approximately 13 years, since his first-ever concert in South кσяєα at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena (now KSPO Dome) in Seoul’s Songpa District in 2013.

Later that day, Justin Bieber personally confirmed his visit to South кσяєα by posting “Made it to Seoul” on his personal social media account, along with photos of his face and views of downtown Seoul. He subsequently shared more pictures documenting his visit to the pop-up store of his fashion brand, SKYLRK.

SKYLRK is a fashion brand Justin Bieber launched last year. It has been operating a pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul’s Seongdong District, since October 22. Meanwhile, photos and videos capturing sightings of the singer at various locations across Seoul have continued to circulate on social media.

However, what caught ARMYs’ attention the most over the past few hours was the reaction of BTS members shortly after Justin Bieber arrived in South кσяєα. On Instagram, fans noticed that RM and j-hope had liked Justin’s latest post announcing his arrival in Seoul, sparking widespread speculation and excitement.

One fan expressed their surprise and speculation, writing, “Wait why Hobi and Namjoon liked Justin’s Seoul post??? Justin BTS collab is literally coming wtf.” Other fans joined in with their own comments: "Yes please collab", "Don't give me a false hope again no....please a collab", "And I want to remind you that they are label mate", "HELLO??? Don’t play with us like this unless a BTS x Justin Bieber collab is actually coming!", "BTS and Justin Bieber on the same track would be INSANE", "Justin is in Seoul, BTS members are noticing his posts… PLEASE LET THIS BE MORE THAN A COINCIDENCE",...

The possibility of a collaboration between BTS and Justin Bieber has repeatedly become a hot topic among fans and in the media.

Back in 2021, Page Six exclusively reported that the two parties were reportedly preparing a collaborative track. The rumor resurfaced in late 2025 after Justin posted a video of himself returning to the bowling alley where he filmed his iconic “Baby” music video. Fans speculated that Jungkook’s and RM’s voices might be heard in the clip.

This latest development comes just months after Justin Bieber appeared alongside BTS during the halftime show of the 2026 CONCACAF World Cup in July. At the event, several BTS members, particularly V, were seen interacting warmly with Justin backstage. At the time, fans took to social media to express their excitement and hope that the two pop icons would one day join forces.

Over the years, BTS and Justin Bieber have also shown mutual respect and shared several memorable interactions on social media.

Most recently, in September this year, fans, netizens, and even Jungkook himself were stunned to discover that Justin Bieber had reposted a video of Jungkook performing at BTS’s Los Angeles concert in an outfit that revealed his chest and abs. The clip had originally been shared by Billboard.

Back in 2019, Justin publicly wished Jungkook a happy birthday, even tagging BTS’s official Twitter account. In 2020, Justin referred to the BTS members as “my boys” as the group achieved global success with their “ON” music video and Map of the Soul: 7 album. That same year, he even shared a video of BTS fans cheering on Instagram, enthusiastically joining in like a true ARMY.

BTS members, in turn, have repeatedly expressed their admiration for Justin, regarding him as a musical inspiration. Jungkook, in particular, has long looked up to the Canadian superstar. During a livestream in July this year, Jungkook even addressed him directly, saying, “Oh Justin Bieber, I love you… I love you, Justin Bieber.”

For his 29th birthday this year, Jungkook also gifted fans a simple acoustic cover of Justin Bieber’s “Lifetime” on Weverse. During previous livestreams and impromptu singing sessions, he has covered several other Justin Bieber songs, including “Off My Face,” “Nothing Like Us,” “2U,” “Peaches,” and “Hold On.”

With all these moments in mind, the question ARMYs are most curious about right now is: Will their next interaction remain limited to social media, or will it finally lead to the official collaboration fans have been waiting for all these years?
