At 4:00 a.m. KST on July 20, the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final between ѕραιи and Argentina will officially kick off at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA. BTS is expected to capture the attention of au∂ιєnces around the world as they take the stage for the Halftime Show—a performance format being introduced for the first time in the tournament's history. Joining BTS as the headlining performers for this historic first-ever World Cup Halftime Show are global pop superstars Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber, creating an unprecedented legendary lineup.
Ahead of this historic performance, BTS shared their thoughts through their agency, stating, "It is a tremendous honor to stand on such a meaningful stage where the whole world comes together. We believe music is a universal language that conveys hope and unity. Sharing that message with global viewers through this World Cup and contributing to expanding educational opportunities for children makes it even more deeply meaningful."

Meanwhile, the first images of BTS at MetLife Stadium have also been unveiled, quickly drawing significant attention from fans around the world!
Specifically, just a few hours before the World Cup Final officially kicks off, a photo and a video of BTS participating in the final rehearsal surfaced on social media. In the footage, the members were seen posing for commemorative photos in front of the stadium. They also appeared cheerful, chatting and interacting with one another while conducting a soundcheck with their global нιт "Dynamite."
However, many fans also couldn't help but notice the unmistakable signs of fatigue on the faces of most of the members. Several of them appeared with slightly messy hair, mildly puffy faces, and expressions that suggested they hadn't gotten enough sleep.

The members' condition immediately sparked concern among fans. The comment section was soon flooded with messages expressing worry, including: "They look so tired", "My babiees look so tried", "Poor babies look exhausted", "Everyone's saying "I'm more exhausted"", "They’re dog tired they got here so fast", "They look super exhausted", "they look so tired man wth, i hope they get to rest", "Give them a bad let them sleep gad d*mn",...
The members' exhausted appearance is completely understandable given BTS's incredibly demanding schedule over the past few days. Just the night before, the group wrapped up the second night of their concerts at Stade de fяαи¢є in Paris, fяαи¢є, performing in front of more than 92,000 fans. As soon as the concert ended, the members had little to no time to rest before heading straight to the airport to catch a flight to the United States, ensuring they would arrive in time for FIFA's rehearsal scheduled for the following afternoon.
After completing a high-energy concert that lasted several hours, immediately boarding a transatlantic flight, and dealing with a significant time-zone difference, it is only natural that the members would be affected physically. Despite such a demanding schedule, it was truly admirable that the members remained positive and quickly got back to rehearsals.

ARMYs are now hoping the members will have enough time to get some much-needed rest before officially taking the stage, while also sending heartfelt messages of support in hopes that BTS will deliver their biggest and most important performance of the year successfully:
- So yeah, realistically speaking, this is a pretty insane schedule. The travel day will be before their bo∂ιєs adjust to the time difference, so it looks super tough. Hoping they pull it off smoothly and can rest up even a little
- It’s truly amazing the effort & energy BTS put in everything they do. Wow!! So excited & proud of them!!
- Our big boys aka 7 boys from кσяєα. They do it like no other. That’s not Run BTS, not even Fly BTS, it’s Teleport BTS
- You've already given us so much over the past two nights. Please take care of yourselves, and know that we're proud of you no matter what. Fighting, BTS!
- No matter how tired you look, we know you'll still give your all on stage. We'll always be cheering for you!
- I love how BTS just casually hops on side quests during their sold out world tour cause wdym they’re in Paris for 2 sold out shows, then flying over to MetLife for the FIFA World Cup Final’s FIRST EVER halftime show
- Good luck at the Halftime Show! You've worked so hard to get here, and the whole world is about to witness what BTS is capable of. We'll be rooting for you every second!
- The tired faces break my heart, but I know this stage means so much to all of you. Wishing BTS a safe, healthy, and unforgettable performance. Let's make history together!
