BTS Members Call Out The One With The Worst Punctuality In Their Group

On the 8th, Audacy Music released a series of interview videos with BTS, filmed during their meeting at the Rock Star Suite in Hard Rock Hotel New York. This was part of the promotional campaign for their fifth studio album ARIRANG. As soon as it aired, the content quickly drew significant attention from global fans, being praised for its refined production and high quality.

In particular, fans were delighted by a three-minute clip titled “The BTS Test”, where the members “called each other out” on their quirky habits through “Most likely to…” questions. The segment created a lighthearted and humorous atmosphere, while clearly showcasing the close bond and deep understanding among all seven members.

There were plenty of fun questions. For example, when asked who usually replies last in the group chat, Jungkook was named. For the question about who tends to order late-night food, Jimin received the most votes, although both he and SUGA insisted that RM was the real “culprit.” The title of someone who often tries new hobbies but quickly gives up also went to Jungkook, while SUGA was noted for being able to play the guitar for up to 10 hours a day. When it came to the most thoughtful gift-giver—someone who picks the most suitable presents for others—the group unanimously chose j-hope.

On the other hand, one question that especially caught fans’ attention was: “Who is most likely to text ‘15 mins away’ but they haven’t even left yet?” Surprisingly, without much hesitation, all BTS members simultaneously pointed to V. Faced with the members’ lightning-fast reaction, V could only lower his head, laugh shyly, and admit the truth. The moment quickly went viral on social media, with fans amused to discover a new habit of the idol.

For many fans, this was considered a “new piece of trivia.” In the past, when it came to being late, the name most often αѕѕociated with this habit in BTS was Jimin. In an interview with TIME, when asked who takes the longest to get ready, the members almost unanimously chose Jimin. There is even a legendary quote from RM that became iconic within the fandom: “When we say ‘I Jimin today’, that means we’re late.”

In one episode of the reality series Bon Voyage, there was also a humorous incident where Jimin arrived late, and the members decided to “teach him a lesson” by getting into the car and pretending to leave him behind. The moment had fans in stitches and further cemented Jimin’s long-standing image as the group’s “late king.” However, with the new revelation from “The BTS Test”, it seems that BTS’s “crown of lateness” now has another veteran contender—Jimin’s fellow 95-liner and close friend, V.

As soon as this TMI was revealed, fans flooded social media with humorous comments, especially about V’s reaction when being called out by all the members at once:

- The way Taehyung already knew they would point at him and didn’t even point at anyone. So hilarous

- Lmao Tae is me. And Taehyung's smile says it all' he's guilty ur honor

- So Jimin isn’t the only ‘late king’ anymore?? V joining the club is actually hilarious. I’m convinced 95z just enabled each other at this point

- HES SO CUTE the way he knows it’s him and his little giggle after

- Sorry, a baby prince is never late everyone else is simply early

- Yes diva takes time to get ready. And I realized his best friend Jimin is also a chronically late person

- The way I cackled at this cuz its a pet peeve of mine. Tae and my mom would gel so well

- Wait...The 95z really out here influencing each other’s ‘fashionably late’ lifestyle.

- All these years we thought it was just Jimin but nope—Taehyung too?

- Lmao he either be butterflying everywhere or feeding his plants and I love how Tae immediately knew it's him that's gonna get called out
