BTS Changed This Female Idol’s Life In The United States With Inspiring Act

BTS' inspirational stories never cease to be meaningful. It not only helps to heal the soul but also helps to change the life of an ordinary person completely.

That's exactly what happened to a female idol, who is now under the same agency HYBE as BTS. She recently shared about the inspirational story of BTS when she fell through the most difficult time:

For many people, life in the US is always something luxurious and seemingly the happiest. But this doesn't seem to be the case for some, especially when faced with cultural barriers.

LE SSERAFIM's Yunjin revealed the hardships she went through in America. It is the feeling of loneliness when not being able to integrate with many people and nostalgia for the Korean homeland.

She shared, “Even though I am Korean, I was living in the U.S. at the time, so they questioned my identity. I often felt like a nobody who couldn’t get along with anyone, anywhere.”

Therefore, she looked to Kpop music as a comfort to her soul at that time. That is also the only way out for the girl who loves music. She loves it so much that she wants to become a professional singer, but she realizes that it is difficult for K-pop artists to develop music in the US and she fears about her unsuccessful future.

She told that: "That’s why I loved music. Through music, I was able to find myself and understand who I am. But it was hard for me to find Koreans in the American music industry. So even though I thought music was the only way to find myself, it made me wonder if I can really find myself.”

Until BTS won an award at the AMAs, she felt proud to see Koreans stand out in western entertainment and also showed a brighter future from there. Furthermore, the girl revealed that BTS changed her life by inspiring her to become an artist like them, someone whose message is supportive of others.

Specifically, Yunjin shared: “In the midst of that thought, I saw BTS sunbaenim. win an award at the American Music Awards, which is very famous. Seeing that made me feel a lot of pride as a Korean and encouraged me a lot. So it made me want to be a singer who can also help and encourage others.”

In fact, ARMYs know that Yunjin not only sees BTS as an inspirational role model or idol, she's even a loyal fan of BTS. Long before debut, Yunjin owned a Twitter account and participated in #ARMYSelcaDay many times.

Yunjin seems to have regularly attended these events with photos of V. This also suggests that it's possible that V is her bias.

This isn't the first time we've seen evidence of Yunjin's love for BTS either. She performed on many occasions, such as cheering loudly for the group during a concert and dancing to their songs when she was still a trainee.

Interestingly, when Yunjin entered the K-Pop industry, Yunjin wasn't a Big Hit Music trainee in the first place. She received formal opera and musical training while in America, then she returned to Korea and was the first trainee at Pledis Entertainment.

She later decided to join Source Music - HYBE's label despite many other trainee offers because she wanted to debut in the same company as her idol BTS. And of course, we all know that she debuted in LE SSERAFIM.

Some ARMYs have expressed admiration for Yunjin and her agency senior-junior relationship with current BTS. But it's also a story that shows that ARMYs can one day become K-Pop idols if we put in the effort!
