BTS Becomes The Only Group In History To Achieve This, Leaving ARMYs Deeply Moved

On the 5th of this month, Netflix released the poster and teaser trailer for BTS’s live comeback performance titled “BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG.” With just over a minute of preview footage, the video quickly climbed to the top of discussion trends, sending social media into an explosion of anticipation and emotion.

The video opens with the roaring cheers of the ARMY fandom, accompanied by the members’ heartfelt message to fans: “So emotional", "I really miss them", "Let's get back out there". Leader RM narrates, "We promised our fans that we'd be back" followed by powerful visuals of the members appearing against the radiant backdrop of Gyeongbokgung Palace at the intersection of day and night.

The video also features bold captions declaring, "THE WORLD'S BIGGEST BAND IS BACK" and "WITNESS THE HOMECOMING". The members express their hopes and determination for the new journey through their remarks: “I felt that each and everyone of us was evolving in some way" and "Seven together, we can do anything. Keep swimming".

The poster released simultaneously reveals the silhouettes of all seven members standing before Gwanghwamun Square.

The appearance of all seven members, along with the messages signaling BTS’s complete return after three years of hiatus, left fans both covered in goosebumps and deeply moved. The moment a group is able to resume activities with its full lineup and original operational status after a hiatus is almost unprecedented in the history of K-pop, and even in the global music industry.

In a landscape where most groups, after a period of inactivity, either disband, undergo lineup changes, or reunite only briefly under different management companies, BTS achieved what once seemed impossible — returning together, intact and stronger than ever. In particular, the way they emphasized their promise to ARMY about coming back further reinforced the strength of the bond among the members and between them and their fans.

From debuting in 2013 as unknown rookies from BigHit Entertainment without strong backing to returning in 2026 as the “World’s Best Group” supported by HYBE — currently the No.1 empire in K-pop — there are simply no words that can fully capture the overwhelming emotion ARMYs are feeling in every cell of their bo∂ιєs as they witness this milestone.

On social media, millions of fans contributed their emotions to the bigger picture through comments such as: “Literally the first group in history to come back together as a full group after hiatus. LEGENDS,” “Seven together, we can do anything. So true, so emotional,” “BTS IS 7. Louder RM for people at the back,” “It's showtime. BTS and ARMY are going to have the biggest party in town,” “BTS promised ARMY and they came back — my tears are falling,” “The only idols I can trust", “Happy 13 years to us, BTS & ARMY",...

Meanwhile, before being able to deliver this impressive full-group comeback, RM once candidly confessed to fans: “I’ve thought tens of thousands of times, ‘Should we disband or quit on the team?’” — likely due to various pressures.

However, as in those past moments, RM expressed that one reason always helped the members regain their morale and remain united under the name BTS: ARMY. “The reason we’ve kept the group together until now is the love between members, and so much love and respect for you guys. I love you all. I hope you understand that. Even if everything isn’t perfect, I will continue to love in my own way,” he said sincerely.

Placed within the context of these words, the new trailer makes fans cherish even more the moment BTS stand together at this time. At the same time, it intensifies the global wave of excitement as fans count down just 15 more days until the official release of the ARIRANG album.
