After Taeyang's appearance at j-hope's Listening party and his collaboration with JImin, many were surprised at his friendship with the BTS members. Taeyang was known as the idol and sunbae in their industry but now, they have built a precious friendship.

But not only that, Taeyang recently revealed soмєтнing interesting about his friendship with BTS, which seems to go further than that. Besides Jimin and j-hope, Taeyang has another friend in BTS and their meeting surprised many people.

On January 12, after a long wait, Taeyang finally released his latest album, which includes a collaboration with BTS' Jimin on the track "VIBE". The music video for the track "VIBE" was also released showing him and Jimin displaying perfect chemistry throughout the song.

Taeyang's collaboration with Jimin seems to have been the most υиєχρє¢тє∂ story for the Kpop community but in fact, it doesn't stop there. Taeyang has an even deeper connection with the BTS members and even has a BFF in the group.

This was revealed by Taeyang when participating in a Q&A program on 1theK. In part of the video, Taeyang revealed how grateful he was after hearing that both Jimin and BTS member mentioned him as an artist they respect the most...

He also explained that BIGBANG debuted in 2006 while BTS debuted in 2013 and that the gap between the two generations meant that they didn't have many opportunities to see the group in action. But it's great that they later had the opportunity to interact with each other and since then form a good friendship.

If everyone knew that j-hope and Taeyang had a friendship stemming from j-hope's admiration or his appearance at j-hope's celebrity party, but that's not all. He heard about how much Jimin and the BTS members liked him through his producer Teddy many years ago and after that, he always finds opportunities to talk with the group.

More specifically, when mentioning RM, he also revealed υиєχρє¢тє∂ly that they are close friends and often meet. Taeyang explains that meeting RM and becoming friends with him is thanks to their love of exhibitions and art, even though it has little to do with music.

He said, “I met RM often at various exhibitions and art fairs, so we became friends as we met.”

Taeyang also later described that since they are close friends, he has the same responsibility as a sunbae and gives the members advice when needed. Meanwhile, he also believes he has a lot to learn from the members, showing a humble side of Taeyang.

He talked about his friendship with BTS: “They really are great people. I have a lot to learn from them too. Although I’m not perfect, as someone who started working as a musician a few years in advance, I was able to give a bit of advice.”

After revealing that he's been close with RM, j-hope, and Jimin, it's time to ask the big question who he's closest to. Considering the amount of time and effort that will be spent on "VIBE", it's not surprising that Taeyang chose Jimin.
