As we all know, BTS and TXT have been the only two groups under the management of Big Hit Music from the time the label was founded until 2024. The debut of Cortis on August 18 this year marked the addition of a third group under the company, and fans of both BTS and TXT are very excited about this new youngest sibling group.
Through many interviews and live broadcasts of the idols, fans have heard many stories about the closeness of the boys in real life. For example, j-hope and RM gave the members of Cortis a lot of advice about humility and how to treat the staff before their official debut.
Meanwhile, TXT members have often shared about being invited by BTS to eat together or to come over to their house. Jin even generously told TXT, “just call me anytime if you want to eat barbecue.” Yeonjun once shared that he had been to RM’s house and received a lot of advice from him during a difficult period.
Since fans have heard many stories about the idols’ closeness in real life but rarely get to witness it directly, they are eagerly looking forward to the day when all three groups will appear together in a project or a reality game show. And it seems that the idols have noticed the fans’ wishes and are even planning for this!
In TXT Beomgyu’s latest live broadcast, he revealed some details that made fans even more excited. It started from a fan’s comment about the Big Hit family photo — previously, BTS, TXT, and solo artist Lee Hyun once took one together. “The BigHit family photo? You know. Since we have new younger brothers now (Cortis), we need to take another one,” he replied.
What is even more notable is that Beomgyu also mentioned a Sports Day for the three groups or, on a larger scale, the HYBE family. “And I’ve actually been thinking about this for a long time, it would be great if the BigHit family could have a sports day together. Even if it’s off the record, I think it would be so nice. Just having a sports day, eating together, and even including our staff members, I think it would be so much fun. Or, since there are even more HYBE artists now, wouldn’t it be fun if we all did a Sports Day Season 2 together?” he said pαѕѕionately.
Although it is called Sports Day, The Game Caterers seems to be the more familiar name to fans. HYBE once organized a family-style “field day” activity for artists under HYBE Labels, including: Seventeen, TXT, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, fromis_9, Lee Hyun, Baekho, and Minhyun. The program helped artists from different groups become closer and fans also loved this type of show.
Right after Beomgyu’s words spread, fans immediately expressed their longing for Season 2 to return. Just imagining the scene of BTS playing together with TXT, Cortis, and even many other HYBE artists is enough to make fans thrilled.
