Bang Si Hyuk Is Threatened With Knife Attack In Front Of HYBE Building

Recent days, the ḳöŕệän people and government face a tense situation by a series of d̾e̾a̾t̾h threats sp1ke. Not only are threats aimed at ordinary people, but celebrities are now also a target of crim1nals.

Most recently, fans were surprised when Bang PD became a threatened target by a knife att@ck about to happen at the HYBE building. After this threatening message was spread, fans were very worried for Bang Shi Hyuk's safety and fortunately, so far, there have been no incidents around the HYBE building.

Even so, it still causes great confusion and fans hope that HYBE will take measures to ensure the safety of Bang PD as well as the artists.

South ḳöŕệä recently became the center of attention worldwide after it faced a series of d̾e̾a̾t̾h threats on social networking sites. As of today, authorities have detected more than 315 d̾e̾a̾t̾h threats being spread and arrested 119 suspects for making those threats.

Such incidents spiked after a stabb1ng att@ck that left one person dєαd and 13 injured on August 3. Since then, the security situation has become tense and always on alert. According to the ḳöŕệä National Police Agency, teenagers make up 52.3% of the total number of suspects who spread m̾u̾r̾d̾e̾r threats online. South ḳöŕệän p̾o̾l̾i̾c̾e and prosecutors also announced that they will impose severe punishments on those who post these threats in order to rea̾s̾sure the public.

However, until now, the threats still confuse people, especially when it comes to the lives of celebrities. Most recently, Bang Shi Hyuk became a celebrity noticed because he was targeted in a knife att@ck threat. Note that there were also earlier warnings of an attack at HYBE headquarters, but no one was targeted.

As reported by ḳöŕệän media on August 12 KST, a netizen posted an online warning that they were planning a knife attack in front of HYBE headquarters. Not only that, this threatening message also identifies the target of the attack as Bang Shi Hyuk (founder of HYBE). Specifically, the message has the following content: "I'll be knife attack1ng in front of the Yongsan HYBE building. Bang Si Hyuk [founder of HYBE], I hope you're there."

The threat went viral online and caught the attention of netizens as well as the company itself. To deal with this lurking ∂αиgєя, HYBE worked with the authorities to get support from the Yongsan district p̾o̾l̾i̾c̾e, Seoul. In addition, they also tightened the security control process for the building.

HYBE has banned the use of the front entrance for all employees in case bad guys take advantage. News outlets revealed a sign posted to the front of the building now reads: "Entering and exiting via front entrance restricted. Please enter and exit by detouring to the back entrance. We ask for employees' cooperation. Thank you."

Meanwhile, p̾o̾l̾i̾c̾e also searched the vicinity of the building on August 8 and 9, when they received the initial threat. In the end, a potential attacker was not found around the building but it still caused HYBE headquarters to be on high alert and ready for security measures.

Along with that, p̾o̾l̾i̾c̾e also said they are tracking down the author of the threatening messages, considering the possibility that they may be minors. Meanwhile, HYBE has confirmed that the building's security is being stepped up, but did not comment further on the direct threat to Bang Shi Hyuk.

Similar to the case of Bang Shi Hyuk, recently, the most famous T1 League of Legends player Lee "Faker" Sang Hyeok also received a similar l1fe-threatening message at his team's headquarters in Seoul. Soon after, the company and the p̾o̾l̾i̾c̾e implemented safety measures similar to what they are doing with other threatened celebrities.

It can be seen that, in recent days, ḳöŕệä is engulfed in confusion and fear of life being threatened. Fans also expressed many thoughts regarding the matter:

- People have actually ℓσѕт their d@mn minds. Why can’t they track this persons ip and put their a̾s̾s under the jail. Prevents it from happening to anyone because their target can always change

- I hope every worker there is alright; can't be too careful these days with the way people are being violent in S.K

- I've seen trainees and some idols on tiktok in front of the hybe building, coming and going and I always wondered why they took the front section? it looks kinda ∂αиgєяous because there's tourist and fans that would come to take pictures or go to those cafes?

- Poor workers. Now they have to go to work being anxious and scared. Good job hype for increasing security and taking other measures. There is som̾e̾t̾h ̾ing going on in ḳöŕệä for all these threats and stabb1ngs to be happening. The pressure is making people go crazy. #lastdays

- Hope Bang PD is in security and the workers too. I know "copycat" att@cks are a thing but this is seriously starting to get ridiculous with the number of nutj0bs coming out of the woodwork and feeling empowered to act this way.

- If its a minor, charge the parents. Make them do their job of watching over what their kids do online. Thats the only way they'll learn. And make an example of them. No settlement, no leniency.

- Now that s.k is in heat water because I heard that some males are planing m̾u̾r̾d̾e̾r att@cks because they are "depressed", before they @ttack they post it on social media they tell the date, how many people they want to kíll and where they will att@ck

- The p̾o̾l̾i̾c̾e have issued a search warrant for the user who spread the threat on twitter. Hopefully they will be caught soon.

- noo! not our bang pd! i hope everyone is fine
