ARMYs once said that the easiest way to see Namjoon these days is to go to a museum. Yesterday there was an ARMY working at the museum and saw RM there with his friend.

Because the museum space is small, she overheard their interesting conversation. She said that they have a beautiful friendship!

She said because a day has passed so she wanted to sit down and type something to tell ARMYs the story she met Namjoon at an exhibit. She said that at 3PM, July 6th, Namjoon stopped by the Chang Ucchin exhibit at the Poeun Art Hall in Yongin. He came with the friend who is always with him that we can guess through his photos before.

The ARMYs told that there were only about 5 people in the exhibition hall, including the 2 of them, so they were able to walk around and carefully look at each artwork while talking. Because she was at the first section and recognized him right away so her heart started beating as if it was going to explode, but she calmed my heart down and stood like a wall in the space. She wouldn’t interfere his appreciation of the art.

She told that he was wearing the same fit as shown in his IG post when he went to go see the Man Who Laughs musical! He wore the acorn beanie, shirt, pants and sandals, bringing a boyfriend vibe.

The exhibition hall wasn’t big and there weren’t a lot of people so she was able to listen to the conversation between Namjoon and his friend. They said it was so great that there weren’t a lot of people so they were talking freely.

Perhaps he’s a fan of Chang Ucchin and liked his art, it looked like he really enjoyed looking at each painting carefully. He even explained that one of the pieces was Chang’s representative work of a particular era. They were sharing a friendly conversation and it looked so wonderful.

Namjoon and his friend were even discussing how the tree was painted and he mentioned while laughing how the tiger under the tree looked like the cat bus from the Totoro movie. This is the piece that Namjoonie and his friend both took a pic of and said it was so good the second time they saw it. She said they went into the entrance and went around one more time to watch it again.

It’s a piece called and it’s a bit different from Chang Ucchin’s other drawings of trees. It’s a drawing full of life/vitality that depicts a persimmon tree that he cherished and thought was dead but suddenly burst like new shoots in the spring! It’s a piece he looked at for a long time. This is a painting of a magpie that Chang Ucchin often drew in his later years during the Yongin period! When he saw this work, he said it was like a self-portrait of Chang Ucchin. Chang Ucchin is an artist who always dreamt of freedom and ideals, which is why he loved nature and birds. 

After looking at the paintings, she introduced them to another Chang Ucchin exhibit being held at another space, and Namjoon’s friend took the paper (pamphlet) while thanking her! 

She also expressed her thought when she saw RM with his friend in daily life. She thought how great it was that Namjoon had a friend who shares his interest and could talk about this with him. She also realized it probably isn’t easy for his friend to go with him, so that’s amazing too!

After seeing the exhibit, RM and his friend retrieved their iced Americanos that they smartly left at the front and left. There are some pictures on Namjoon's instagram to show how good day he had at the exhibition.
