The whole world warmly welcomed and showed great anticipation for the return of all seven BTS members after they completed their military service in June this year. For fans, it has undoubtedly been the happiest time in three years since the group went on hiatus due to enlistment. However, somewhere out there, haters have also started resurfacing with malicious plans to ruin the reputations of the K-pop superstars.
The timing of BTS’s comeback seems to have fueled the jealousy of toxic individuals to its peak. That’s why, over the past few months, anonymous hate toward BTS members has grown alarmingly severe.

A prime example of this is Jungkook, who has been dragged into multiple dating rumors with several female celebrities for months. Although all of them are baseless and lack any evidence, he has been relentlessly attacked online, receiving countless hateful comments—even targeting his family—under his personal Instagram account. Meanwhile, RM recently became the subject of harsh body-shaming from a group of Indonesian netizens, to the point that ARMYs had to launch a campaign to defend him.
Another serious case that ARMYs have recently pointed out involves the wave of criticism from haters and some netizens targeting V’s personality.
Specifically, on November 6, an X (formerly Twitter) account under the ID @KpopHaterHQ shared a post featuring a photo of V (originally posted by him on July 7) with the caption: “Taehyung (29) of #BTS stuns in a recent photo. HE IS ONLY PUSHING 30.” Notably, this account has a history of posting hateful content toward many K-pop idols, and nearly all BTS members have been targeted by similar attacks at least once.

That post became the source of another wave of toxic comments. Most replies and retweets accused V of being “fake” and “pretending to be innocent” despite being a grown man in his 30s.
Some even claimed his behavior contradicted his previous statements after enlistment, when he said he disliked people who acted that way. These individuals went as far as editing V’s photos into memes to mock and damage his image and reputation.
Even worse, toxic individuals left extremely malicious comments directed at V such as: "Someone need to bring him for a mental health check", "He's gay", "he feelin baby girl but doesn’t realize he’s a ¢яєєρу 40-year-old man", "omg, she is boty??", "Please stop posting about this jumpscare. You literally jumpscare me in everything you post", "He goes to the gym and builds muscle just to act like wonyoung", "Old lady boy", "Baby girl pick me", "Pushing 40 but acts like a toddler",....

Witnessing this wave of hateful attacks, fans grew furious. They pointed out that @KpopHaterHQ called it a “recent photo,” when in fact four months had already pαѕѕed since V originally posted it. At that time, V was doing a fitting for CELINE, and the photo was just a playful moment between him and the staff. What fans and netizens once saw as a lighthearted behind-the-scenes snapshot was twisted by haters into soмєтнing negative about his “personality” or “authenticity.”
Fans also emphasized that since debut, V has been known for his 4D personality—a positive term in K-pop culture describing someone who’s quirky, unique, and charmingly eccentric. Therefore, his recent actions are nothing new or “fake,” as haters claim.
Moreover, fans pointed out that toxic individuals are simply out of ideas to tarnish V’s reputation, which is why they’re resorting to such ridiculous attacks. ARMYs have been encouraging others to continue sharing supportive posts and hashtags filled with love for V, in order to drown out the negativity spreading on X:
- Taehyung is on a global level few artists ever reach. Our role is simple stay focused on streaming, voting, and respecting his path. He represents elegance, talent, and power, let's match that energy
- Stop twisting his personality. V isn’t fake — he’s just being himself, and that’s why millions love him, not you.
- Protecting Taehyung starts with restraint. Not engaging or replying to hate is the first and most powerful step. Let’s stay smart in protecting him.
- He's literally the sweetest kindest sweetheart ever i would like to protect him from everything in this world. i love you taehyung. #HeartofTaehyung
- V has always been like this — playful, unique, and genuine. Calling him fake just shows how little you know about him
- Those clearly have no idea about his 4D personality. That’s who he’s been since debut!
- It’s funny how haters try so hard to find flaws in someone who’s simply real and unbothered. Stay mad, he’s still loved.
