ARMYs Speak Out To Protect Jungkook’s Brother As He's Targeted Following A Top Female Idol’s Family Controversy

In the K-pop industry, it’s not uncommon to see idols who have siblings also working in the entertainment field. Notable examples include Jessica Jung and her sister Krystal Jung, TXT Huening Kai and his sister Kep1er Huening Bahiyyih, TWICE Jeongyeon and her actress sister Gong Seung-yeon, as well as BTS j-hope and his influencer sister Jung Ji-woo. Since both the idols and their siblings are public figures, public interest and curiosity are only natural.

However, an “interesting” aspect is that public attention toward idols’ siblings doesn’t stop at those who are also in the entertainment industry—it extends even to those who are not. At times, this curiosity may seem harmless, but in many cases, it can significantly affect the private lives of family members who are not celebrities. As a result, many siblings of idols tend to limit their presence on social media or maintain a high level of privacy.

Jungkook’s older brother is one such person. Because he is not active in the entertainment industry and is related to one of the world’s biggest stars, he is likely well aware that his actions are constantly under public scrutiny. To this day, there is very little verified information about Jungkook’s brother available to fans, aside from the commonly cited name Jeon Jung-hyun, born in 1995.

Some fans have speculated that he works as a graphic designer, based on creative and fairly professional caricature drawings of Jungkook and BTS that were once shared on his personal Instagram. However, drawing appeared to be the only type of content he posted there. By 2021, Jeon Jung-hyun became more widely known as the founder of the fashion brand Six6uys.

Despite not sharing any personal details and with most information about him being based on fan speculation, Jungkook’s brother has still been targeted by toxic individuals and antis. At one point, he even deleted all content from his Instagram. More recently, although he was not involved in any scandal, he was dragged into accusations and subjected to online harαѕѕment.

Specifically, an account named “jungkook’s grapist brother,” with the ID @War__monitor_, was created on X (formerly Twitter) and has repeatedly posted harαѕѕing, defamatory, and insulting content targeting Jungkook’s brother. This individual falsely accused him of involvement in ∂яυg trafficking, ѕєχual αѕѕault, and even the Burning Sun scandal—all without any credible evidence.

The account even distorted facts by claiming that Jungkook had to “hide for two months” because of his brother’s alleged scandals. Additionally, this individual operates another account, @BTS_FLOP_BACK, to continue spreading false information and insulting BTS members, particularly Jungkook and Jimin.

Importantly, all claims made about Jeon Jung-hyun are false. The individuals involved in the Burning Sun case were publicly identified, and Jungkook’s brother’s name has never appeared on that list. Furthermore, Jungkook’s past car α¢¢ι∂єит was a minor incident, for which he was at fault and for which he took legal responsibility. So why would this account fabricate such harmful accusations?

According to some ARMYs, the account owner appears to be a fan of BLACKPINK, and their motivation may stem from a recent controversy involving Jisoo. Her brother, Kim Jung-hoon, was reportedly arrested for ѕєχually harαѕѕing a female streamer and accused of domestic abuse. Although he was the one at fault, Jisoo still faced backlash due to their familial connection and alleged business ties through the company Blisso.

Funny thing is, after being exposed as a BP solo stan and getting cooked by both ARMYs and genuine BLINKs, they changed their layout to SUGA and privated their account.

However, none of this justifies turning Jungkook’s brother into a target of false accusations. He does not deserve to endure such baseless attacks. One ARMY spoke out: “Involving Jungkook’s family just because the idol you stan has a family member who brutally αѕѕaulted his wife?”

Another fan expressed their anger: “How are you gonna try to frame his brother as a rapist when it was actually 'ole girl's' brother? Nobody should be held accountable for their brother's actions, but we’ve let you get away with everything—yet I won’t stand by while you spread these disgusting allegations against Jungkook.”

Meanwhile, other fans have been actively reporting the account to HYBE and the platform in an effort to hold the individual accountable for spreading misinformation. ARMYs are encouraging others to submit reports via https://protect.hybecorp.com/ under the categories “malicious post” and “slander/profanity,” citing “Repeated Harαѕѕment and Defamation.”

Ultimately, actions that harm someone’s reputation and mental well-being are clearly unacceptable and should never be tolerated. Fans are expressing great outrage at this situation:

- God I am so fcking sick and tired of that breed they are so disgusting

- Just by reading the bio I know exactly who this is, they done changed their name. Just block them

- I hope some of these loud blinks would get sued or ja1led. Now is the time. Jobless mfs always spreading misinformation

- Like that’s actually insane. They’re mentally sick. Report them. Let HYBE handle it.

- You can’t expect less from a fandom full of men. This is the patriarchy pact

- They cant stop speaking on bts. Its a mental illness i swear. Making up sh1t cuz ya favs brother is a raping s3xual degenerate. They really want to be sued for defamation.

- I’ll skin you вιт¢нes like a surgeon performing open-heart surgery and you pterodactyl built b1tches are my patients

- So they low down, ∂ιяту, sour neck, turtleneck, lamp chomp built *ss b1tches, really trying to switch this whole situation onto Jungkook. So disgusting
