ARMYs Protect j-hope Against Body-Shaming From Fans Of 2 Celebrities After They Appeared Together At Recent LV Event

On the evening of December 3, Louis Vuitton held the opening event for its Visionary Journeys exhibition space in Seoul, South кσяєα — home to the largest experiential site in the brand’s global series. The theme of this exhibition is “Seoul, a city where heritage and innovation coexist.” The narratives of art, fashion, and culture unfold across six floors under the keyword “journey.”

The grand opening drew significant media attention as it brought together the brand’s star-studded lineup of ambαѕѕadors, including actress–model Jung Ho Yeon, actress Shin Min Ah, K-pop idols j-hope, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Stray Kids’ Felix, actress Jun Ji Hyun, and actor Gong Yoo. All of them are among the most prominent and globally influential figures in the entertainment industry.

The superstar guests appeared in striking ensembles that embo∂ιєd the spirit and aesthetic of the French luxury house. Among them, j-hope showcased an entirely different vibe: earth-tone pieces paired with burgundy pants, purple sneakers, and a pair of cool sunglαѕѕes. Known as the “chameleon” of the idol world, j-hope once again lived up to his reputation as he appeared in his role as a Louis Vuitton House Ambαѕѕador.

While global netizens were busy marveling at the ambαѕѕadors’ visuals and star power at LV’s latest event, a major controversy broke out among K-pop fandoms. Although fanbases are often easily swept into unnecessary disputes, ARMYs were taken aback to see some toxic fans from two fandoms teaming up solely to attack j-hope.

Specifically, under several posts by K-pop fan accounts featuring the three Louis Vuitton ambαѕѕadors, many comments — confirmed to be from fans of Stray Kids and BLACKPINK, particularly those of Felix and Lisa — contained inappropriate language and insults targeting j-hope’s appearance. These toxic fans attempted to belittle him while excessively praising the other two idols, even urging them to distance themselves from the BTS star out of fear that his “ugly looks” would affect them.

The vicious and extremely negative remarks from some STAYs and BLINKs angered not only ARMYs but also disgusted many non-fans, who sympathized with j-hope. Some non-fans shared their objective opinions, condemning the toxic behavior of those вυℓℓуing the male idol online for no valid reason.

Meanwhile, ARMYs could not stay silent as j-hope was attacked so unfairly. Fans firmly pushed back against the disrespectful comments, sharing moments that showed how he became the center of the party by easing the awkward atmosphere among LV’s ambαѕѕadors.

Fans also pointed out that although many people often blame ARMY for being toxic, they fail to see how other fandoms’ hostility is what triggers ARMYs to defend BTS members against baseless attacks.

ARMYs also determine not to let negative comments affect the BTS rapper. They flooded community posts with words of praise for him and pushed the hashtag #JHOPEXLOUISVUITTON to trend:

- j-hope's an icon, he's a legend and he's the moment

- No wonder he is the sunshine, he made all dance and smile. So proud of you, J-Hope

- Go through the qts nad replies and you will know who is the problem and it's Not Armys. j-hope doesn't deserve these hateful comments too

- Everyone and their mama is obsessed with the KING j-hope. Haters gonna hate

- The way you can see in quotes everyone is obsessed with only one of these three and that one is jhope says alot .

- Jhope you win this game. Do you know why those stans targeted j-hope alone? Because they know very well — and are afraid — that their idols would be overshadowed by him.

- j-hope making everybody move, dance n laugh in that room. he dgaf he is the life of the party. The celebs got along with each other so peacefully, yet some of their fans went crazy and wanted to tear each other apart.

- "armys are so toxic, the worst fandom" and then stays and blinks are here dragging hoseok in the worst way for breathing next to lisa and felix.

- that’s one of the greatest musicians of all times, that opened all the doors for their favs, who today have the honour to stand next to him
