ARMYs Pray For V’s Safe Return After CELINE Cancels Menswear Show Amidst Paris Riots

Well, no one can predict any situation that will happen and now fans are worried for V's safety in ḟŕäńċệ. A few days ago, he went to Paris to prepare for a CELINE fashion show but amid the new chaos, it was cancelled.

Although the fashion show was not held, V has not yet been able to return to kσrєα. The recent riots have put the security situation in the city at a higher alert than ever.

Currently, there are not many updates on V's schedule in ḟŕäńċệ while ARMYs are praying for V, crew and other artists in Paris to be safe and return to kσrєα soon:

On June 20, V left kσrєα to go to Paris to attend CELINE Homme Summer 24 - the fahsion show introducing the brand's new collection. V's attendance is said to be at the invitation of CELINE's creative director - Heidi Slimane, who has a close relationship with V and is in contact with him on a brand ambαѕѕador contract.

Previously, fans did not know where V would depart until V himself revealed about attending the Paris fashion show on Instagram. So, ever since V shared about his arrival in ḟŕäńċệ, many fans have begun to worry for his safety at this time.

This is caused by the past few days, the France's city has been rioted and lasted for many days. Paris is currently at the center of nationwide chaos following an incident on June 27 and a wave of protests that have lasted for more than five days.

Specifically, it began on June 27, when Nahel, a 17-year-old of Algerian-Moroccan descent, was sh0t by a ṗöŀïċệ officer while stopping traffic in the Paris suburb of Nanterre. The teenager's dєαth was captured on video and it soon fueled already-existing public sentiment against ṗöŀïċệ víσlєncє and rαcιsm, especially in the poor and racially mixed urban communities.

Although the officer who shot the boy is now facing a formal ṃüŕďệŕ investigation and has been remanded in custody, people are still protesting against systemic rαcιsm and the inequality in French law enforcement agencies. For 5 consecutive nights, many cities in ḟŕäńċệ witnessed vi0lent protests over the issue. According to reports, rioters burned about 2,000 vehicles and ransacked stores. So far, more than 100 people have been arrested by the ṗöŀïċệ.

Amid this unrest, Hedi Slimane took to her Instagram and announced that the CELINE menswear show scheduled for July 2 has been cancelled. This also means that V will not attend any events here and will soon return to kσrєα in the coming days.

Hedi Slimane explained why canceling the fashion show would be “inconsiderate and totally misplaced”, adding that while it was a “great disappointment”, the step was also necessary to ensure the safety of his team and guests. He mentioned: "Having to abruptly cancel a show that represents a considerable amount of work for the fashion house, my teams and the workshops is a great disappointment. It’s also a disappointment for all our guests, journalists, artists and musicians, to whom I extend my warmest and most affectionate thanks.

Their safety is naturally a priority for us, and the uncertain evolution of these extremely serious disorders requires us all to exercise the utmost discernment.

From my point of view alone, a fashion show in Paris at a time when France and its capital are bereaved and bruised seems inconsiderate and totally out of place".

In light of Slimane's decision, fans are pleased with his rational response to the situation while also hoping for the safety of V, along with all other guests and the show's crew. Besides, ARMYs also pray that V will have a safe flight to return to kσrєα in the coming days before the current dαngєrous situation in Paris:
