BTS members are said to be very quick to grasp information about ARMYs. Many fans even suspect that they have other accounts to follow ARMYs and the content they post.

However, in reality, there are people who investigate ARMYs more thoroughly than BTS members. Especially among them is a friend of RM.

He once revealed this during a livestream and recently ARMYs found out who the person's true identity is just in case:

BTS seems to be the ones who keep an eye on and update what's happening on social media related to ARMY. In particular, since BTS uses Instagram, ARMYs seem to be more wary of creating special content related to them because they doubt that they can know and see it at any time.

At first, many people were worried about j-hope's ability to update SNS, but later on, V surprised everyone. He saw ARMY-edited drawings on Jimin and sent it to him. Jimin then got a similar tattoo. It's one of those examples that's really amazing

But another thing is, RM also said he also has a mysterious friend who keeps him updated on trends and ongoing discussions on ARMY Twitter. And he knows exactly what happens to ARMY. This, RM mentioned 2 years ago.

Since then, ARMYs have been trying to figure out if this "friend" is RM with another account or a real acquaintance. But now his identity may have been revealed by RM himself!

After releasing the new album Indigo, RM has been regularly sharing various content related to the project on his Instagram. In addition to sharing official videos and interviews, he also posted some behind-the-scenes clips, such as himself recording “Forg_tful” and mixing Indigo tracks with John Eun, Docskim, and Park Jaeshin. 

In his recent Instagram story, RM shared a video that shocked ARMYs because it was a fan-made edit with scenes from the movie Decision to Leave for RM's new song "Closer". RM identifies himself as a fan of the movie and admits to having watched it about five to six times.

In fact, he showed off his unlimited fandom on The Dictionary of Useless Human Knowledge, where the film's director Cheon Seo Kyung appeared as a guest. Therefore, ARMYs helped him put Closer into a movie scene, but he didn't expect him to know this.

In the caption of his Instagram story, RM mentioned that his fellow artist, eAeon, sent him the video. When he retweeted the edit, it had only 1,000 likes, implying that eAeon had to really dig into ARMY Twitter to find an edit that was even posted.

This incident gave ARMYs every reason to believe that RM's friend who reported ARMY's pranks on Twitter to him was none other than the producer of “Change pt 2” eAeon. ARMYs are panicking right now because it feels like eAeon is lurking around them listening to the signals coming from ARMYs.
