ARMYs Discuss About 1k Seats In Jin's Run Tour In Korea, Comparing To 55k Seats In Japan

Jin will embark on his first solo tour for fans as expected this June. '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR' is a sub-concept for his own entertainment content 'Run Seok Jin' released weekly through BTS's official YouTube channel and also carries the meaning of a 'journey' to meet ARMY.

On the other hand, in this concert, fans will be able to enjoy the full songs from Jin's 2nd mini album 'Echo', which will be released at 1 pm on the 16th of next month, as well as the songs from his first solo album 'Happy', which was released in November last year.

In the poster released at the same time, Jin poses in a rock star style, wearing a leather sweater and using instruments such as a guitar and keyboard. There are many predictions that he will play these instruments in the stages of the tour.

These details make fans more excited and eager to attend the event than ever!

According to the announcement on the global fan platform Weverse on June 29, Jin's fan concert tour will start in кσяєα, held during two days from June 28 at Goyang Auxiliary Stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex.

After the concert in кσяєα, the overseas tour schedule was also revealed, including nine cities such as Chiba and Osaka in נαραи, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa and Newark in the United States, London in the United Kingdom and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The tour is expected to last until the end of August this year.

However, what fans are most interested in these days is the large difference in capacity at Jin's concert venues. Especially when the Goyang Stadium booked by Big Hit Music only has a capacity of 1,000 seats.

There are two types of Goyang stadiums: main stadium named Goyang stadium with more than 41k seats and the other is Goyang Auxiliary stadium with only 1k seats and about 2k seats if they adjust VIP & standing area. According to information released by Big Hit, the stadium for Jin's concert is the smaller one.

Meanwhile, the stadiums in other cities have a capacity from 17k seats to over 50k seats. Even, Kyocera Dome in נαραи can hold up to 55k fans.

Fans also expressed great concern that the 1,000-person capacity of Goyang Stadium will make the competition for tickets within the fandom more fierce than ever. The extremely limited number also causes many fans to miss the rare opportunity to meet Jin since his discharge from the military.

Some fans have suggested that Big Hit Music failed to book a larger venue due to other events already did, while some кσяєαn fans have pointed out that the Goyang Auxiliary Stadium can also hold quite a few people if everyone stands, and encouraged ARMYs not to get discouraged before tickets are officially released.

On SNS, кσяєαn and international fans are discussing this topic a lot. Their opinions include:

- Wait I am confused. 2 venues in נαραи with 9k and 55k capacity, all αмєяι¢αn and European venues being 20k or more but SK one being 1k capacity only? Why?

- My theory is this sound more like a fancon tour which are usually more interactive. Maybe Seoul Stop will be in the RUN JIN last episode and he will do special activities with ARMY. I also believe it’ll be a raffle

- Sk venue is basically a football field with bleachers on the side. He'll either make armys to play games or will have a festival style stage. It's seokjin, so we'll never know until he says himself

- There's still hope BH will book Goyang stadium with 41k capacity & not the auxiliary. It would be such a shame like give us big venues . Is not like any member won't sell out . We want solo tours with milions attendancees

- looks like this tour was a last minute action , I think Bigнιт prepared for it so fast and booked whatever was available in span of two months

- since there's no other asian country stop.. wanna try my luck in sk but wdym it's only 1k capacity so how am i gonna secure??? like wth why is it so small while other cities have 17k-55k??

- I think it will be all-standing in Goyang. Of course, it depends on the stage setup, but I think a capacity of 10,000 to 15,000 people is possible. I don't think they will use seats.

- Even if I can get tickets to נαραи I can't secure a visa on time. Over tourism has changed visa processing from 2 weeks to over 2 months. Getting tix to SK? Like how? Online lottery is my only chance dear

- 2.5k is too less. Is he probably planning to make it into some special event?

- Gonna watch 400k+ fιgнт for that 2.5k tickets. I feel like there's gonna be a full blown war for that 2.5k stadium tickets
