ARMYs Comfort RM After He Apologizes For What He Said During The Recent Weverse Live

On the 6th, RM held a short live broadcast with the purpose of reαѕѕure fans, or at least say whatever he could so that fans would understand. The live quickly became the center of attention when he mentioned many deep issues.

In particular, his explanation when saying “Many people are asking ‘Why did you guys throw late 2025 away?’” and his confession about the group having thought about disbandment many times but still choosing to stay together because of the bond between the members and the affection and respect for fans became the two major controversial points.

Although most fans felt comforted by the leader’s sincere sharing, other parts of the community have never simplified their way of thinking, especially in the context where false dating rumors about Jungkook are hotter than ever.

Just for one live broadcast of RM, dozens of articles with titles such as “Jungkook & Winter’s silence on dating rumors is frustrating enough… and RM fuels the fire by mentioning disbandment” or “Aftermath of Jungkook’s dating rumors?... BTS’s RM says ‘I considered disbanding countless times’ and opens up about his feelings” appeared at the same time on Naver – the largest portal site in кσяєα.

Meanwhile, a toxic part of netizens burst into negative reactions, claiming that RM’s words increased fatigue and anxiety even though the group has already announced their return. They also accused RM of using the possibility of disbandment as a “w3apon” to calm down negative public opinion. Some even interpreted his references to BTS as meaning that the internal relationship of the group is no longer strong.

Notably, RM seemed to realize the negative wave happening after his live broadcast and therefore felt sorry for making the situation more complicated. Thus, on December 8th, he wrote a letter to fans on Weverse Live, apologizing for what he said during the recent broadcast, making many fans emotional.

In the letter he wrote: “Sorry for making many people (he later edited it to ARMYs) tired with Live 2 days ago. I got a lot of calls.. I regret not doing it, but I was frustrated I'm sorry Please look forward to it. I'll make music, practice dance together, think about new content, and live like that. I took the driving test soon, and I went around all four courses yesterday with driving practice stickers I'm scared. And yesterday, I watched a pomegranate-colored movie, and the interior of the house is finished, so I'm going back to the house after half a year. I'll decorate it and introduce it to you later. I took out the tongs to make snowflakes, but they all melted. It's so cold, so dress warmly and don't catch a cold. Then I'll go now!”

RM admitted that he was largely affected by emotions and regretted saying things that made fans tired. Instead of explaining at length, he got straight to the point, showing remorse and sincerity. On the other hand, he directed fans toward positive things – the group’s return and shared small cute things in his recent life. The letter shows RM’s effort to reαѕѕure fans after many unfortunate happenings.

ARMYs burst into tears because their idol always thinks for fans but the hurt is what he always has to endure alone. They also pointed out that what he shared in the previous live broadcast was completely sincere affection rather than an excuse or causing more trouble as some distorted it. He clearly did nothing wrong nor had to apologize because fans understood his good intentions.

A fan commented: “Seriously I don't like when any member apologies like this. It's okay to be honest with us why they have to say sorry for being honest with us”. Another added: “What the h*ll is he apologising for?! Telling the truth and sharing how he feels? If KNetz need everything candy-coated, ARMY will produce an ABC book for you filled with chibi tannies explaining everything in goo-goo talk! And 'calls', from whom? Not real 'friends', surely?!”

Meanwhile, other fans also left many comforting comments for RM under the new post on Weverse. A standout comment wrote: “NAMJOON you don't have to be sorry It begins with Namjoon and it ends with Namjoon. The best leader we could ever ask for the one who stands firm, speaks truth, and protects the boys till the very end. WE LOVE YOU NAMJOON”.

Especially, a big fan of BTS – Jin also gave comfort to the leader with the message: “Our Namjoonie, I always cheer for you”. This special fan later also luckily received a cute reply from RM: “Jin aing~ Kim Seokjin is the best”.

Not only that, fans also followed RM’s heart-hand sign, turning it into a trend to show their love for him and BTS on social media.

In reality, what RM shared was understood positively by genuine fans. The fandom even felt comforted by RM doing that live broadcast rather than “tired”, “disappointed” or “worried” like what some reports claimed. They even wrote a letter right after RM’s live that day to show their feelings toward BTS, showing that the fandom completely welcomed what he said.

In the end, anyway, RM’s letter has ended all the troubles that he had to face after the latest live broadcast!

Fans also warned that the recent wave of hate towards BTS is clearly large-scale and organized, aiming to bring BTS down and reduce the public excitement ahead of the group’s return. Therefore, everyone needs to stay strong, fully focus on supporting BTS, and get through this chaotic period.
