ARMYs Come To HYBE Headquarters To Protect SUGA After The Wreaths Were Sent To Require Him To Leave This Morning

It seemed like SUGA's previous drunkenness scandal had been resolved, but he still had to face a new wave of attacks recently. This morning, October 20, a series of funeral wreaths were sent to HYBE's headquarters with the aim of asking SUGA to leave BTS.

In response to this malicious attack, many ARMYs gathered in front of the headquarters and protected SUGA as well as cheered him on to drown out the criticism he was facing. Meanwhile, some information related to the incident was also shared on social media so that other fans would know the truth and be wary of those who tried to sabotage it.

Here are our updates on this morning's event:

Since August this year, after SUGA was accused of drunk driving, the wave of criticism and requests for him to leave the group has become stronger. Even though SUGA and HYBE admitted their mistakes and took all the punishments required by law, many people continued to attack, insult, and defame him on SNS.

The peak of the incident was when a group of "unverified fans" sent hundreds of funeral wreaths to HYBE's headquarters with the aim of asking the rapper to leave the group. After that, a lot of statements like "ARMYs" turning their backs on SUGA or "the fandom agreed to remove SUGA from BTS",...were spread on SNS.

This incident had calmed down for a while until recently, when it was continued by another group of malicious people. On the morning of October 20, about 100 funeral wreaths were sent to HYBE's headquarters. Most of these wreaths show a common message asking SUGA to leave BTS with the content like: "I use Suga's photocards to hold my hotteok and Suga's albums as my pot coasters", "The hotteok will start smelling like alcohol so I can't even use Suga's photocards for the hotteok stands", "Suga whose alcohol test was 0.227 got caught by the ρσℓι¢є by tripping on the floor", "I recommend 0 Sugar (Suga). Bang Sihyuk's meat juice ∂ιєt failed", "Fast get rid of criminal Suga", "A criminal doesn't belong on stage"...

In response to the attack of this group of toxic people, ARMYs quickly gathered in front of HYBE headquarters and responded to these "funeral wreaths". Specifically, ARMYs hung banners and LED boards with positive messages like "ALWAYS WITH YOONGI", "WE LOVE YOU YOONGI", "BTS is Seven", "We Love You Yoongi", "Yoongi Never Walks Alone"... around the headquarters area.

In addition, ARMYs gathered in front of the headquarters and voiced louder than the antis. Food trucks with messages of support for SUGA, BTS were also hired to come and support ARMYs performing fanchant.

Meanwhile, some ARMYs also shared information and clarified the appearance of the wreaths at HYBE. An ARMY wrote that: "It's only 100 antis who call themselves K-Arny. Not "All K-Army". There were also people who encouraged those who want to get rid of Bang PD and hate HYBE to add their wreaths. Some of them cried about spending their monthly savings needed to live to do this. There's nothing to praise here, they need help". Other ARMYs also found 3 girls with masks who are considered as the people sending the wreaths.

Sending flower wreaths to the headquarters is not rare for Kpop fans recently. However, "The funeral flowers were disgusting" - quoted from DAY6 Jae when he shared his thoughts on the similar action that fans did to another member of the group - Seunghan.

Jae also added that: "The same people who sent them will be the first ones online mourning the tragic outcome they fought for. God forbid tragedy occurs but I’ve been on that side before and It was close. I can’t imagine the trauma it would cause someone that young. Anyone involved in the flowers should be tried for attempted мυя∂єя because that is what that was."

Not only Jae's opinion, but other fans also expressed similar opinions, condemning the cruel actions aimed at these idols:

- I love you guys so much, ARMY!! Thank you so much for protecting our Yoongi

- this is the most beautiful thing i've ever see - thank you army from the very depths of my soul for showing up for yoongi and bts today.

- ARMYs chanting loudly the BTS fanchant near the wreaths in front of HYBE exactly BTS IS 7!

- Tysm everyone who showed up, supported Yoongi & BTS. This makes me feel so proud and emotional at the same time about us. apo bangpo y'all

- thank you so much guys for being loud with your love and support for yoongi and bts this makes me feel emotional and happy at the same time it makes me realise once again that iam surrounded by so many good people I feel so grateful to be a part of this Fandom

- Yes, let those people go. If they don’t want to support you and your music, that’s their loss. Please remember, we will always be here to support you

- wtf i hope ppl r trying to throw out the wreaths or at least cutting off the ribbons w the messages this is so disgusting

- how can this wreath business owner be ok with agreeing to include such harmful & inhumane wording, writing those words out one by one, in soмєтнing as sensitive as a wreath without feeling disturbed or questioning the intent behind it? absolutely sickening

- the fact they are allowed to put those wreaths up is so f*cking disgusting.

- Those who spend money on those wreath, i hope they go bankrupt i hope they will have no money to eat and live.  it’s so funny seeing ppl wasting money for hate. Fake flower that would end up in a trash. Lmao what a loser
