For ARMYs, attacks against a member of BTS are familiar things that akgaes or antifans often do on Twitter. By mass trending a tag, toxic individuals spread false news, incite negativity, and att@ck idols.

Recently, Jungkook became the top victim in a trend on SNS even though he joined the army not long ago. The incident stemmed from a conflict related to BTS's official Twitter account. Taking advantage of this, akgaes and antifans attacked and defamed Jungkook, making ARMYs unable to sit still and endure.

ARMYs, on the contrary, request these people to respect Jungkook and stop actions that are offensive and divisive within the fandom:

As we all know that on December 12th, Jungkook enlisted with Jimin at the Army's 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon. For at least the next 6 months until Jin is discharged, it is a difficult time for both of us. BTS and ARMYs in maintaining love and trust. Therefore, fans are more careful in the connection between fans and the group and among them.

However, there are many people who take advantage of this situation to create arguments or attack members even though they have just joined the army. In recent days, Jungkook has become the target of toxic fans and the controversy surrounding his issue has become a top topic of discussion on SNS. The climax of this incident was when a series of bad tweets on Twitter as well as hastags with content boycotting Jungook appeared everywhere.

Specifically, the incident started when a big account - believed to be owned by an "ARMY" commented below the post of BTS's official account run by HYBE about changing the group's theme. Currently, the account @bts_bigh̾i̾t ̾ is using a theme with the theme of Jungkook's album "GOLDEN" because it has just been released and is still in promotion period.

However, this person believes that HYBE is favoring Jungkook over the other members because he still maintains this theme until now, even though he has enlisted in the army. Immediately, other hastags and posts emerged, asking HYBE to remove GOLDEN's theme from the homepage while some other toxic individuals began to att@ck and defame him. There were even controversies that divided fans' love for the group's members starting from this incident.

As the situation became more and more tense, ARMYs could not bear it and had to protest. Most true ARMYs think that GOLDEN's promotion time is still left because there is still a lot of new content released recently even though he has enlisted. Therefore, HYBE does not remove the GOLDEN theme and they only change this when a new project of a member or group is announced.

Not only that, ARMYs all believe that Jungkook's efforts and dedication to GOLDEN as well as the content for ARMYs need to receive more respect than being attacked for just such a thing. Fans are currently angry at the large number of people who are targeting Jungkook:

- After 10 YEARS, jungkook gifted us his FIRST SOLO ALBUM, he worked so hard tirelessly and he sacrificed his prime time for you all, yet you are shamelessly mαss trending a tag to changed GOLDEN LAYOUT that is only ONE MONTH OLD even on official post. ARMYS LOSES THEIR SANITY! So embarrαssing! ARMYS RESPECT JUNGKOOK ARMYS STOP SABOTAGING JUNGKOOK ARMYS RESPECT BTS MUSIC

- Jungkook did not fly to the US FOR A DAY after being in jäṗäń just to film this performance for us and release it after enlisting for you to disregard him this way. His album is just a month old and Golden is not done yet. Shame on you.

- Do a comeback, do 10 comebacks, deal with enlistment however you want. But do not disrespect their CURRENT OFFICIAL work. That’s borderline anti behavior.
