The first medal is designed with BTS logo motif and the number '10' symbolizes their 10th debut anniversary to show the identity of the group. For the first time in commemorative medals, special elements of security are applied to highly artistic currency. The front of the medal is engraved with the BTS logo, the English group name is BTS, and the English names of the members (RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook). On both sides, debut year 2013 and 2023, the year of the 10th anniversary, is engraved. For the first time, Korea Minting & Security Printing Corporation marked with the number 10 in the star image representing the first introduction.

On the background of the medal, the BTS logo is printed with a delicate pattern and is designed to extend outward from the center. In particular, a special white element that can be found through the attached magnifying glass has been added to enhance not only the element of interest but also meaning.

On the back of the medal, the number 10 commemorating the 10th anniversary of BTS's debut is shown in depth by special embossing technology, making the number sparkling like a mirror. Around the number 10, the BTS logo, 10th Anniversary, Au999 or Ag 999 and the seal of Korea Minting & Security Printing Corporation are engraved with the same eternal shining star. The first official commemorative medals were produced in a limited run of 87,777 pieces worldwide, with a total of four types, three gold and one silver.

It is limited to 10,000 gold pieces (1000 1-ounce gold pieces, 2000 1/2-ounce gold medal pieces and 7000 1/4-ounce gold medal pieces) representing the 10th anniversary of its launch. Silver medals are made in a limited number of 77,777 pieces, representing 7 members, with a 1/2 ounce type.

The selling price (tax included) for the 1 ounce Gold Medal (weight 31.1g, purity 99.9%, diameter 40 mm) is 4 817 000 KRW (equivalent to ~$3 678. Gold Medal 1. 1/2 ounce (weight 15.55 g, purity 99.9%, diameter 32 mm) is 2.2 million KRW. Gold medal 1/4 oz is 1,155,000 KRW.

A 1/2 ounce silver medal (weight 15.55g, purity 99.9%, diameter 32mm) is 135,000 KRW. Commemorative medals were issued simultaneously domestically and internationally for the first time under the distribution of HYBE and Korea Minting & Security Printing Corporation.
