ARMYs Are Surprised By The Results Of A Korean Survey About BTS's Off-Season Is For Enlistment

The fact that BTS is entering its 10th year and focusing more on solo activities has caused much discussion among the public. Many people think that this is a stepping stone for the members to prepare for enlistment.

Therefore, Elimnet Now & Survey conducted a survey of Koreans about this! But what was more surprising was the results of the poll.

Ever since BTS talked about entering chapter 2 with a focus on solo activities, there have been many false rumors that BTS will stop group activities. This led many people to start speculating about the reasons why BTS suddenly started doing solo activities when they are having more than a decade of group activities.

One of the reasons given the most is that the members are about to reach the age of enlistment while the military exemption for BTS has not yet come to an end. So, this is most likely the direction of BTS to prepare for enlisting.

Elimnet Now & Survey conducted a nationwide survey from June 22 to June 28 on the reaction of Koreans to the issue. The results showed that more than half of Koreans responded positively to the suspension of BTS's activities.

The most common answer when Koreans were asked about BTS taking a break from group activities was "It's a good choice for fair military service", accounting for 45.5%. Next, 23.3% expressed "I am very sad that the group's activities have stopped", while 21.3% said, "I look forward to a new future through solo activities".

Looking at the results shows that even though BTS's focus on solo activities is due to military service issues or not, they all seem to feel that BTS is making the right choice for chapter 2. The issue of military service in Korea is still a sensitive issue that even the President of South Korea when asked about, said that it should be considered carefully.

Meanwhile, ARMYs are quite surprised by the positive response of Koreans to BTS's solo activities. Some say that although the reason they support this is because they think BTS will do their military service like everyone else, this also shows positive signs instead of them being less concerned.

Some feel conflicted because in some previous surveys by other surveying agencies, many Koreans support a military exemption for BTS in the national interest. However, no matter what the reason is, BTS's off-season is a decision worthy of respect!
