Although Jimin reαѕѕured fans by saying, “Don’t worry too much about those threats — the staff are taking care of it,” and fortunately, none of the threats came true, they still left a deep scar on fans’ minds.
In recent days, ARMYs’ concerns have grown once again as a series of social media accounts have begun spreading false information — and even more alarmingly, posting messages that express intentions to harm him directly.
Initially, fans discovered posts referring to organized attacks, stalking, and harαѕѕment campaigns against Jimin originating from two anonymous accounts: @/eunnsn and @/up9094192228256. The repeated mentions of “кιℓℓ”, “∂єαтн” and especially, "acid att@ck" in these posts have made fans extremely worried about Jimin’s safety, as no one knows how far these deranged individuals might go if they actually decide to act.
As a result, fans immediately reported these accounts to HYBE, sent emails, and tagged BTS’s official channels to raise the alarm. They also urged the company to launch a full investigation and take legal action against those spreading harmful and threatening content toward the idol.
Across social media platforms, fans are now actively working to stop the spread of malicious rumors and violent threats. They are also encouraging others to report harmful accounts both to the platforms and to HYBE, hoping to maximize awareness and strengthen protection efforts:
