Specifically, Siddhartha Misra, a teacher from an educational background called Physicswallah, was caught on video threatening violence against one of her students during an online class. In the clip cut from the classroom, he said, “If you weren’t a girl, I would’ve grabbed your collar and slapped you. Your cheeks would’ve been swollen so much that you wouldn’t be able to say ‘BTS’…I would’ve punched you so hard your nose would start bleeding.”

According to a student who directly participated in the class that day, the reason for this incident was because that student was an ARMY. She posted a message in the live chat talking about BTS

This made the teacher feel uncomfortable and started mocking BTS and ARMY. Finally, he ended his toxic words with these very aggressive statements.

But another user also pointed out that this is not an uncommon case on this online education platform. Alakh Pandey, the owner of Physicswallah, was also recorded mocking students who listen to BTS during online lectures.

In a recorded video, he said: “What did you do during the break? Did you go listen to BTS’s songs? Tell me, what did you do during your break?”. He even mocked ARMYs saying that because they listened to BTS's music during their break, they couldn't fully understand the knowledge. knowledge of the lesson.

This is completely absurd and threatening to hit a student is unacceptable. Therefore, ARMY was extremely angry and worried about this situation.

Although they admitted that it was wrong for the students not to maintain the classroom decorum, it is completely wrong for a teacher to handle the situation by intimidating students negatively with such unethical language. Many also cited Indian law and pointed out that Siddhartha Mishra could be held liable under the law of land under section 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
