On the 1st, вιg нιт Music said in their latest announcement, “j-hope will fulfill his required time with the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ by enlisting in the army”. вιg нιт Music went on to explain, "Please note that there will be no official event on the day of his entry".
"The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ personnel and their families only. After Jin, j-hope is the next member of BTS to enlist in the army although he has a long way to go before he is required to enlist according to the national regulations. Previously, Jin enlisted in the army last December and enlisted 7 days after the same announcement was made. Currently, Jin is doing very well his duties as an äṩṩistant instructor at Yeoncheon Training Center.
Similar to the previous announcement for Jin, вιg нιт Music representing j-hope also expressed hope that fans can show their support for j-hope's decision to enlist. They ended the announcement, "We ask for your continued love and support for j-hope until he completes his m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service and returns. Before this news, ARMYs seemed to be extremely surprised because they did not think that the day j-hope enlisted in the army would come so soon despite preparing mentally. In just over 100 days, ARMYs had to send 2/7 members of BTS to the army and fans seemed to feel more empty than ever.
