In front of fans, V always strives to deliver complete performances and show the very best side of himself. That is why fans were even more heartbroken to discover that he had been silently enduring severe ear pain on stage just to make it through the performance.

Specifically, a video currently going viral on social media captured the moment Taehyung taking out his in ear and rubbing his ear while performing "Into The Sun," the song that closed the LA concert. Notably, as V rubbed his ear, his expression left many fans heartbroken as he appeared to be in considerable pain and discomfort.

Previously, during a livestream one month ago, V surprised ARMY when he revealed: “It’s been about two and a half years, I think. My hearing started getting worse.” The singer further explained: "If one ear can hear 100%, the other can only hear about 30%. I’m still taking medication regularly."

In another interview with Hot Ones, V also explained more clearly that the issue he was experiencing was related to tinnitus. He also pointed out that years of performing had affected his hearing to some extent, while the condition became worse after he enlisted in the military. Prolonged exposure to gunfire and other weapons during military training is believed to have aggravated his pre-existing hearing problem.

V's reaction at the recent concert may have been an effect of this condition. At the same time, fans have also grown concerned that his condition may not have improved despite his ongoing treatment.
