On online forums as well as news reports this morning, netizens are discussing a recent uproar that started inside the subway in Seoul. Chaos ensued on Seoul Subway Line 9 and Sinnonhyeon Station, where screams rang out, leading to widespread fear among päṩṩengers that a violent act of t3rror was about to take place.
However, it did not stop there, this incident became more and more interesting when some people concluded and slandered that ARMYs were the ones who caused the false alarm leading to chaos at subway number 9. Despite the The evidence is pointed out that those are false accusations and the incident is not due to the fault of ARMY on line 9 but the criticism is still directed at BTS and their fans.
Currently, the situation has reached a climax and is too much for ARMYs to bear. On Twitter ARMYs are spreading the truth of the story as well as trending hashtags to get justice for BTS:
As previously reported, the incident happened on the night of August 6 when reports were sent to the ṗöŀïċệ and päṩṩengers on subway line 9 fled in panic after receiving the warning. This happens in the context of riots and attacks that are escalating, causing obsessions for people across the country.
On top of that, netizens were shσcked to see the level of manpower and labor dispatched to the scene. Although the reports turned out to be untrue, firefíghters äṩṩisted the fallen päṩṩengers during the chaos. Of the seven injured, six were taken to a nearby hospital.
But what's special is that the incident became more and more noticeable when an allegation from some people "wasn't even on that train". These people said that a group of ARMYs shouted loudly after watching the livestream of SUGA's tattoo, confusing the päṩṩengers and raising the alarm about the dαngєr.
Specifically, this person retweeted a video showing some ARMYs on a train after attending SUGA's concert at KSPO Dome and watching his live stream. The fan's outburst and reaction was due to the friendship tattoo "7" on SUGA's shoulder revealed by himself.
This person posted the video with the comment: "It wasn’t a knife @ttack at Sinnonhyun, but apparently fans returning home after BTS Suga’s concert were screaming because he revealed his tattoo on live stream…". Note that this person was not present at the time of the incident.
But the truth is that the ARMYs on this train are not line 9 train. The video originally posted by @egcaniza shows ARMY screaming and hustling on the train as SUGA shows off his tattoo. However, in the video, ARMYs are discussing because of SUGA's live broadcast and everyone just stood in place, not running away, causing chaos. OP also corrected that she was not on line 9, OP took the next train to Sports Complex, and arrived at 20:35 and this place was a few stations away from where the incident happened.
@egcanzina also apologized for their behavior on public transport and also claimed not to be on the train that had been evacuated. So it is not wrong alarm by ARMY on the line 9 train!
There is no denying that shouting on the train in the current context is an act of impoliteness on the part of these fans. However, the two incidents happened at two different times and locations, so it cannot be attributed to ARMYs who created the false alarm that led to the riot on line 9.
This groundless and purposeful accusation has greatly reduced the honor of ARMY as well as the reputation of SUGA and BTS, receiving many unwarranted criticisms. Not only that, there are a lot of ARMYs being looked down on and attacked for being mistaken for causing a commotion resulting in some päṩṩengers being injured on the train yesterday.
In the face of the increasingly amplified misunderstanding, ARMYs could not stand it and began to speak out about the truth. Along with that, ARMYs also trended hashtags to ask for respect and apologies from those who ĨŃŚÚĹŤed ARMY and BTS without caring about the truth.
Here's what ARMYs are saying about the incident:
- APOLOGIZE TO BTS RESPECT BTS WE ARE WITH BTS
- Stop spreading Iies. Fans are not connected with this issue.
- UNFOLLOW @/allkpop AND @/pannchoa AND EVERYONE THOSE WHO FOLLOW THEM AND BLOCK THESE ACCS FOR SPREADING MISINFORMATION AND RUMOURS AND CRITICIZING BTS AND ARMY~
- Seriously, apologize to BTS
- Y’all should apologize to that army as well! Like some of yall saw the vid and still kinda bullied them! In the vid you can clearly see that the train is filled with ARMYs laughing and screaming no one was panicking i hope you learn in the future not to jump into conclusions
- fr they just drag them at every single chance i need an official apology
- Stop spreading misinformation. Fans are not connected with this issue APOLOGIZE TO YOONGI RESPECT YOONGI WE ARE WITH YOONGI
- You better clear BTS name. BTS and Army had absolutely nothing to do with the situation. Not our fault youre failures in life.
- How can someone believe that "ARMYS PANIC JUST BCS OF A TATTOO" as if they haven't survived the other 6 member tattoos. THEY ARE NOT DUMB. THE ARMYS WHO CLEANED UP THE VENUE DURING BTS 10TH ANNIVERSARY CAN'T BEHAVE LIKE THIS. LIKE USE UR FREAKING BRAIN. Fools.
