It seems that these days, there are some issues between ARMY's perception of Jay Park that have caused the related topic to become mainstream. One of them included ARMYs asking some other ARMYs to apologize to Jungkook for the past incident.

This stems from the incident when Jay Park once posted a photo taken with Jungkook on social networks. After that, not only Jay Park but Jungkook was also criticized by some ARMYs for taking close photos with the person who ĨŃŚÚĹŤed BTS.

But the story doesn't just stop in the past, it also becomes a hot topic these days after j-hope announced his participation in a show also hosted by Jay Park:

To start the debate related to today's hot topic in the ARMYs community, perhaps we have to go back to around April 2022. Jay Park surprised fans by posting two photos. photo taken with Jungkook on his social networking site.

First, fans saw Jay Park and Jungkook stayed close together and made a hand gesture for peace. In the second photo, the two are standing inside the recording studio and posing for the camera.

This new post has become one of Jay Park's most liked posts to date. In particular, below the post, Jay Park also wrote a few captions praising Jungkook for his mature mindset and humility despite his unparalleled reputation.

Jay Park even complimented Jungkook on his boxing skílls. Specifically, he wrote that: "Even though he’s at the top, he has a growth mindset and and he’s humble. What a stud… Plus he’s good at boxing…After I met Jungkook, I can definitely can see why they get so much love. Humble, [ambitious] and talented ??????"

Not only posting on Instagram, Jay Park went on to share the same message on his Twitter page, adding that Jungkook is a "dope" and "genuine" person.

Jungkook shared the first photo on his Instagram Stories and tagged Jay Park's @moresojuplease as a show of similar respect for his posts. Fans who saw the post were ṩḧöċḳed at the interaction.

This incident stems from the fact that Jay Park used to have bad words when talking about BTS. Moreover, in a song he composed, he called K-Pop "manufactured" and "inauthentic", but at that time, he used famous idols to attract great attention.

Therefore, many fans reacted harshly when they saw the new photo of the 2 idols. Some fans accused Jay Park of being a hypocrite and couldn't forget the humiliation he gave BTS.

In this incident, Jungkook was also influenced by a part of fans. Because at that time, some people criticized that Jungkook should not be close to the person who spoke badly about BTS and that it was wrong to post Jay Park's photo on SNS.

Of course, many people disliked Jay Park and thought that he was someone who only followed BTS when the group was famous but in the end, when j-hope chose this program, ARMYs still supported him.

Many other ARMYs also agreed to support the broadcast of j-hope while many others asked the old ARMYs who criticized Jungkook to take a picture with Jay Park to admit their mistake. They pointed out that Jungkook taking a photo with Jay Park and j-hope on Jay Park's show is exactly the same, so Jungkook doesn't deserve to be treated like that.

That's why the hashtag "ARMY Apologize to Jungkook" was born and is on the top trending on SNS now. With that, there is some other hastags related to j-hope like #jhopeheldhostage, #jhopehostagesituation and it attracts a controversy.

Meanwhile, many ARMYs pointed out that it was an old story and not all ARMYs reacted negatively to Jungkook. Better yet, people are advising each other to be positive in how they see things and support members in their projects rather than arguing:
