While V's unit has been revealed, even before he enlisted, the official units of RM, Jimin, and Jungkook are still a big question mark. RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook enlisted in the army on the 11th and 12th of this month and are in the process of completing their basic training before being deployed to their official units. In the ḳöŕệän m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ system, the first month of basic training is mandatory for all young men who enlist in the army to equip them with basic m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ knowledge to serve during the next period of the service.
Most young men entering the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ will start at the Training Center, which is based in many regions across the country. After more than 1 month of studying and training here, they will undergo tests or exams. While some excellent recruits are retained at the Center to serve as teaching αѕѕistants, other recruits will be deployed to official units.
Among the 6 BTS members who enlisted in the army, Jin and j-hope were the first two members to enlist but successfully completed their duties, pαѕѕing all exams to become training αѕѕistants. They were retained in the unit they enlisted in to perform m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ duties for the entire remainder of their m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ term. Meanwhile, the four newly enlisted members have gone through more than two weeks of basic training and their unit has made preparations to deploy them after the upcoming fifth week of basic training.
Specifically, on Friday of the 3rd week of the 5-week recruit training course, the computer system will select and αѕѕign solďïệrs to different Divisions where they will officially perform m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service until demobilization. According to the new results announced by the Yeoncheon Training Center on December 29th, Jimin and Jungkook were both αѕѕigned to the 5th Division.
However, even though they are in the same Division, it does not mean that Jimin and Jungkook will be deployed to the same unit. There are many different units in the 5th division such as 27th, 35th &36th Infantry Brigades or the artillery brigade... The official unit they will work for will be randomly selected by the computer system on Friday of the 5th week of basic training. Additionally, this official unit will not be published on the website.
To put it more simply, after January 18, Jin, Jimin and Jungkook will all perform m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service at the 5th Division's base. However, they can live and work in different buildings if they are deployed to different units. Jin is currently working at the Division's Training Center. If both Jimin and Jungkook perform excellently and pαѕѕ the test to become αѕѕistant instructors, all three can meet at the Training Center.
But in the end, whether they can live in the same building or not, the fact that all three can live in the same facility makes fans very happy:

Meanwhile, V is reported to be deployed in Special Task Force of Army's capital defense command after completing 5 weeks of basic training because he pαѕѕed the test when registering for this unit.
