BTS and ARMY are immersed in the first full purple FESTA celebration in more than three years since the members completed their military service and reunited as a complete group. To mark this special occasion, the group has continuously released a variety of content for fans, including dance and lyric videos for the songs "Hooligan" and "Come Over," the Normal Log series featuring all seven members, a new family photo set, and two spectacular concerts in Busan held to coincide with the anniversary. The members even personally prepared gifts for the ARMYs attending the event.
On the official anniversary, June 13, the celebratory atmosphere reached its peak. While waiting for the concert to begin, fans around the world had already been enthusiastically celebrating online. It wasn't just the fans—the BTS members themselves were also highly active on social media throughout the day, celebrating together and sending heartfelt messages to ARMY.
As soon as the clock struck midnight on June 13, Jin posted on Weverse: "Thanks to you, I was able to have a happy birthday again this year. It's all thanks to our ARMY. Thank you!!!!" Shortly afterward, leader RM updated his Instagram Story with a photo of all seven BTS members accompanied by the simple yet meaningful caption: "13th Anniversary! Thank you for being with us. Everyone, it’s all thanks to you."
Meanwhile, j-hope uploaded a selfie on Weverse featuring himself with the silhouettes of the other six members during soundcheck at the stadium. He wrote: "ARMY, thank you for loving us and being with us for the past 13 years! You know it, right? I'm always sincere about everything when it comes to you all. Let's have fun and enjoy today as well!!"
Interestingly, shortly before the second Busan concert began, SUGA υиєχρє¢тє∂ly started a livestream to celebrate the special day directly with fans. Cheerfully, he said, "ARMY, it’s our 13th Anniversary! Congratulations! Thank you so much for celebrating our 13th Anniversary!" before repeatedly clapping his hands, as if celebrating a shared birthday party with millions of ARMY around the world.
V then joined the livestream and brought plenty of playful banter with SUGA. When SUGA joked, "If it's our 13th anniversary, then we're first-year middle school students now," V immediately replied, "First year of middle school? Then it should be our 14th anniversary." SUGA explained that he was using the international age system, where a 13-year-old would already be a first-year middle school student. Hearing this, V laughed and responded, "Ah, that's right. I also started playing the saxophone when I was in seventh grade," before summing it up by saying, "Everyone, today is our 13th anniversary."
As for the "Busan duo," Jimin and Jungkook had actually begun celebrating the 13th anniversary the night before through a livestream joined by nearly four million ARMY. During the broadcast, the two sang "Happy Birthday" for Bangtan and clapped along to the rhythm as their own way of celebrating the occasion.
The fact that all seven members appeared in their own unique ways on such a special day deeply moved many ARMY. There were no grand or elaborate speeches—each member simply chose a personal way to express gratitude. Yet, when put together, their messages felt like one collective letter addressed to the fandom that has stood by BTS throughout the past 13 years.
