Despite becoming one of K-pop's most successful groups, BTS remains humble and polite. Not only that, they receive a lot of respect from their peers and admiration from junior artists.
During a recent live stream, AB6IX member Donghyun surprised fans by revealing a sweet story about when he met BTS a few years ago. He also revealed his favorite member of the group:
AB6IX Donghyun is known to be an avid ARMY as he has repeatedly confessed his love to the group. Not only that, Donghyun is also said to be a successful ARMY with an idol career just like his role model BTS.
Donghyun also had the opportunity to meet BTS many times at music shows and award ceremonies. This place can be considered as the time when his passionate fandom was pushed to the climax when he directly saw his idol.
During a recent live broadcast, Donghyun mentioned how he met all of the BTS members backstage at a music show. He shared his joy as all the BTS members happily greeted other idols including himself.
But one of the memories that touched him so much was j-hope's warm and sincere greeting that touched him the most. He continued by saying that even though he likes all the BTS members, j-hope is his favorite for that reason.
Specifically, he said: "I like j-hope sunbaenim very very very very much. I like him so so much. I like other BTS sunbaenims a lot too but I have special memory of j-hope sunbaenim. It was long ago, I think it was probably during Music Bank… I was passing by them in the hallway. The other sunbaenims said hello to me happily. But the way j-hope sunbaenim greeted me was so overwhelmingly kind that I was deeply touched".
He then went on to show how much of a true supporter he is to his senior idol by pointing to the Mang statue hanging on his shelf, saying: “j-jope sunbaenim is the best! Also, I love his collab song with Crush sunbaenim.”
Maybe many people will envy Donghyun because he gets to meet and even greet his bias. That's what every fan wants!
Needless to say, fans of both artists are very happy to see the sincere love and appreciation between them, with many now eager to see them work together on screen.
