A Southeast Asian Country Selected to Host BTS’s Largest and Longest World Tour Event Ever for the First Time

BTS World Tour ARIRANG is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year for ARMYs around the world. Beyond seeing their idols perform at concerts, fans can also immerse themselves in a vibrant festival atmosphere through activities held around the concert dates, including “The City.”

The City is a project that expands the experience beyond the concert venue and into the surrounding urban space as part of BTS’s world tour. Rather than simply attending a BTS concert at a stadium and heading home afterward, fans can take part in various immersive activities at locations throughout the city. These include buildings illuminated in purple, exhibition spaces, pop-up stores, and photo spots featuring BTS-themed designs.

Launched in Seoul in March this year, the project has since expanded to Las Vegas, Busan, London, and New York, with ѕιиgαρσяє expected to mark the final stop on its 2026 schedule.

Notably, according to the latest announcement, ѕιиgαρσяє will become the first country in Southeast Asia to host BTS THE CITY ARIRANG. Beyond marking the project’s debut in the region, ѕιиgαρσяє has also drawn attention for hosting the longest-running The City program among all the projects held in 2026.

Specifically, on the 19th, HYBE officially announced “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – SINGAPORE” through the Weverse platform. According to the announcement, the program will run from December 1 to 31, making ѕιиgαρσяє the destination with the longest-running The City event this year.

Previously, The City projects typically lasted around two to three weeks, depending on the location and event schedule. Seoul, BTS’s hometown, hosted its program for approximately 23 days in March and April. As a result, ѕιиgαρσяє’s 31-day program marks a notable milestone, reflecting the scale of the investment in this destination. The extended duration has surprised fans while also inspiring a sense of pride among the local ARMY community.

The project is being carried out in collaboration between the ѕιиgαρσяє Tourism Board and HYBE. According to the ѕιиgαρσяє Tourism Board, it is the largest citywide collaboration with a single artist ever undertaken locally. Beyond catering to the fan community, the event is also expected to further enhance ѕιиgαρσяє’s appeal as an international destination for tourism, entertainment, and culture.

One of the highlights of BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – SINGAPORE is the participation of numerous major partners, including Jewel Changi Airport, Mandai Wildlife Reserve, the National Gallery ѕιиgαρσяє, the National Museum of ѕιиgαρσяє, Resorts World Sentosa, Sentosa Development Corporation, Kallang Alive Sport Management, and Zouk ѕιиgαρσяє.

At these venues, a variety of immersive experiences, exhibitions, media content, and lighting displays inspired by BTS’s music and the ARIRANG theme will be introduced. As a result, the atmosphere of the tour will extend beyond the stadium, spreading across cultural, tourism, and entertainment spaces throughout the city.

In particular, from December 8 to 22, famous landmarks around Marina Bay and the ѕιиgαρσяє River will be illuminated in red as part of the ARIRANG-themed lighting displays. Iconic locations such as the ѕιиgαρσяє Flyer, Helix Bridge, and Gardens by the Bay will also take part, promising striking scenery for fans and visitors alike.

Alongside The City activities, BTS will hold four concerts at the ѕιиgαρσяє National Stadium on December 17, 19, 20, and 22. All four shows have sold out, making ѕιиgαρσяє one of the standout stops on the Asian leg of BTS World Tour ARIRANG. It will also have the longest concert schedule among the tour’s Asian stops, excluding South кσяєα and נαραи.

Before then, BTS will officially kick off the Asian leg of “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’” in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on November 19.
