Currently, six BTS members — RM, j-hope, SUGA, Jimin, Jungkook, and V — are together at the group’s songwriting camp in the U.S., busy with preparations for their upcoming album. Meanwhile, with only two shows left in the Netherlands, Jin is wrapping up his RUN SEOKJIN EP. TOUR and is expected to join the group soon after.
This album marks BTS’s first full-group comeback since completing their mandatory military service, and is expected to be released in the spring of 2026. With such a meaningful return on the horizon, fans are highly excited — and it’s clear the members are pouring their hearts into the project.
On August 5, j-hope shared a video offering ARMYs a rare glimpse into BTS’s music-making days in Los Angeles. The clip showed RM nodding to a beat in the studio, SUGA focused on his guitar, and j-hope wearing headphones — a snapshot of the group deep in their creative zone.
In addition to their time in the studio, the members also posted some candid behind-the-scenes moments: RM buying a hat for Jimin, Jimin relaxing under the sun, Jimin and j-hope strolling along the beach, and V capturing chaotic yet endearing snippets on Instagram.
But it didn’t stop there. RM and V seem to be playfully challenging ARMYs' detective sкιℓℓs once again — potentially teasing a song from the new album through their recent SNS activity. While at first glance, their posts may appear to be casual updates unrelated to music production, some suspiciously well-aligned details have sparked speculation.
Specifically, on August 6, V held a voice-only livestream on Weverse Live, with a thumbnail showing him in a black suit and the words “I wanna go home.” Just two days earlier, RM had posted four photos on Instagram with the nearly identical caption: “I really want to go home.”
The strange coincidence in wording, tone, and timing immediately raised eyebrows in the fandom. Many began to wonder whether this wasn’t just a random emotional expression, but rather a deliberate lyric tease — possibly a song title or line from the upcoming album.
Soon, the term “Taejoon spoiler era” started trending, as fans began speculating that these phrases could be a glimpse into a new track. Some even theorized that “I want to go home” might be connected to BTS’s 2019 song HOME, hinting at a spiritual or lyrical continuation.
Could this be the first signal of BTS’s next chapter — more mature, but still rooted in the emotional core that has always resonated with fans for over a decade?
On the other hand, RM and V both have a well-known history of unintentionally leaking spoilers for upcoming solo and group projects — often despite Big Hit Music staff’s efforts to keep things under wraps. This reputation only fuels ARMYs' belief that the clues scattered across social media aren’t coincidences, but carefully dropped puzzle pieces waiting to be solved:
- I think it's their song spoiler. It's not a coincidence
- Home pt.2. You can't convince me this isn’t a spoiler. Taejoon is up to soмєтнing
- I'm feeling home pt2 is coming up
- HOME Pt2 is coming y'all but no one will believe me
- WHAT IF ITS A SONG ABT HOW THEY REALLY WANTED TO GO BACK HOME TO US WHEN THEY WERE IN THE MILITARY!
- They miss кσяєα always. Namjoon has talked about being lonely in hotels. But I have a feeling that they are also making a song about their longing and despair of мιѕѕιиg home when they were in military
- Definitely a spoiler and the song will be about how home is us and them wanting to come back to us while in the military. I’m not delulu, they’re not fooling me this time
- 'I want to go home’ sounds way too specific to be random. Soмєтнing is coming!
- RM and V dropping cryptic posts again? Clαѕѕic spoiler kings
- I swear this is HOME part 2 and no one can change my mind.
- They're so good at teasing without saying a word too. My detective brain is working overtime!
- BTS making us decode posts like it’s a full-time job. I love it
- You just know Big Hit staff are panicking behind the scenes
- These ‘coincidences’ feel way too coordinated. Big Hit staff must be trembling right now
