Over the past decade, the entertainment industry has witnessed no shortage of celebrities getting caught up in attitude scandals behind the scenes. However, throughout their journey from unknown rookies in 2013 to their current status as global superstars, BTS has always been an exception to this kind of controversy. Their kind nature, thoughtful actions, and admirable character have earned countless compliments from people who have had the chance to interact with them.

The latest example came after the high-profile wedding of actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-ah, when veteran director Yook Sang-hyo openly praised V’s surprisingly “low-key” presence to the press. Despite being a superstar who naturally draws attention wherever he goes, “I looked around and eventually spotted V—almost as if he didn’t want to inadvertently take the spotlight or overshadow the main characters of the day. He was wearing glαѕѕes, dressed simply, and sitting quietly among the actors, looking like a junior college student attending a thank-you party or an appreciation dinner,” he shared.

This innate sense of thoughtfulness and humility was recently demonstrated once again through another story shared by singer Muzi. The BTS member’s gesture was so “incredibly considerate” that it stayed with the singer and left him feeling guilty even to this day!

Specifically, in the latest episode of the YouTube show Unfinished Meddling, Muzi suddenly shared: “I had this one incident where I felt really sorry toward BTS. It was an incident for which I felt very small,” leaving even the other guests surprised and curious enough to ask: “Are you allowed to say it in a broadcast? What is it? Can you tell us?”

Muzi went on to explain the circumstances of what happened: “At an acquaintance’s wedding, there was soмєтнing like an after-party upstairs, and I~ at that time, BTS were already global superstars. But back when I hadn't quite memorised the members' faces yet~ I was having a glαѕѕ of wine when someone came over and greeted me.”

Interestingly, Muzi thought the person who came over to greet him was Jin, so he said, “Jinah~ yah you guys have gotten so big now~”. The person he thought was Jin then responded sweetly, “Aiyoo, no not like that hyung. Have a good time~” before walking away. It was only when the person sitting next to Muzi told him, “That was not Jin, it was V,” that he realized he had called the member by the wrong name — a mistake he felt he should never have made.

The singer admitted: “Firstly, I was so embarrαѕѕed. And the secondly, V left without even correcting me. He thought it was unnecessary, you know,...He wouldn't even correct me on that and just left.” The other guests then suggested that perhaps V deliberately chose not to correct him because he did not want Muzi to feel even more embarrαѕѕed. Muzi agreed: “Don’t know, it could be that too.”

After the video was shared on social media, fans could not help but marvel at V’s thoughtful behavior and big-hearted nature!

Most people would probably feel uncomfortable if they were mistaken for someone else and would want to immediately clarify the misunderstanding. But V did the exact opposite. He may have simply thought that his senior had already had a few drinks and might have been a little tipsy, so mistaking his name was understandable and not worth making a fuss over. Instead, he simply let it slide while still maintaining a respectful and polite attitude toward him. He has always shown genuine consideration for others and tends to put their feelings before his own.

And perhaps most heartwarmingly, the story also unintentionally highlights the family-like bond among the members — because for V, perhaps being mistaken for Jin was not such a big deal after all, as long as everyone still recognized them as BTS!
