Among them was a special ARMY who talked about a meeting with Jungkook overseas. The memory of meeting Jungkook is so great that he can't forget it and through it, affirms that he will always be a loyal fan of BTS and Jungkook for the rest of his life.
Here is the story of one special fanboy who got this rare opportunity. And what's even more envious is that Jungkook even took the initiative to talk to him:
Jungkook is known to be always friendly and cute when meeting ARMYs. He often shakes hands and signs autographs with ARMYs he meets by chance. Most of the time it's because the ARMYs noticed and approached Jungkook first.
But sometimes, there are also some exceptions and of course, that makes a difference to the story of meeting with Jungkook. That is the situation below told by a male ARMY - who directly met Jungkook at a store and Jungkook was the person reaching him first to talk.
Specifically, the OP in the story is a lucky fanboy who met Jungkook after the group's concert at MetLife. This ARMY bought a ticket and flew to New York to attend the concert. But after that, he didn't fly home immediately, but took time to hang out in New York the next day.
OP decided to stop by the Balenciaga store to buy some items for himself. It is a very large store and is located on a busy street. When OP came to the store, there were very few customers and the atmosphere was very quiet.
While searching for items and going to the corner of the store, OP was surprised to see Jungkook also present in the store with the protection of some bodyguards around. He immediately recognized it as his idol because he was the same person he saw last night's performance.
Even when he goes to the store, he still wears a bracelet with the floor number from the previous concert night. When he saw Jungkook there, he seemed to have gone crazy with joy but in the end he decided not to disturb Jungkook's day off by avoiding him.
OP went through the other display to shop like a normal customer with a heart happy to see Jungkook up close. But the special thing is that when he was about to take an item from the shelf, he felt like someone was approaching him.
Suddenly, someone actually tapped the OP's shoulder right after that. OP turned around and froze for a few seconds when he found out it was Jungkook and his bodyguards.
He recounted that he was shσcked because he purposely went to other corners and didn't stare at Jungkook to avoid disturbing and attracting attention. But he couldn't believe Jungkook would come and tap him on the shoulder to start their conversation.
Jungkook pointed to ARMY's wristband, then smiled and said, "Did you like the concert?". And of course, with a lot of excitement, the lucky fanboy told Jungkook that the concert was amazing and that Euphoria was his favorite performance. Jungkook was happy to hear those words and politely thanked him for his compliment.
Last but not least, they even talked for a while (with a little help from the staff to translate) and then said goodbye. That fanboy recounted that he really couldn't remember the details of what he told Jungkook because he still couldn't believe it was true. He just remembers thanking Jungkook so much and Jungkook thanked him for coming too.
That fanboy said that he was impressed by Jungkook's kindness and generosity when he took the initiative to talk to him. He also recounted that Jungkook has an extremely humble and sweet attitude and it totally shows how much he cares about interacting with ARMYs.
