For ARMY, the name ADORA seems to be no stranger. She used to be a producer that made ARMYs crazy with her voice and talent.
Recently in an interview with Starnews, she revealed that a BTS member contacted her after she left HYBE. ADORA also revealed a bit about her future collaboration with the member.
ADORA is currently known as a young female artist with a unique musical color of Kpop. Although currently debuting as a debut artist, many people don't know that she was previously a veteran producer with more than 5 years of experience working with BTS and HYBE artists.
ADORA signed an exclusive contract when she became an internal producer of Big Hit Music from 2016 - 2017. She became the first female producer of Big Hit Music and also featured in many hit songs of BTS, TXT. However, information about ADORA at the time of production is very little because one only hears a female vocalist with a voice like hers in BTS songs like Spring Day, Epiphany or Seesaw.
About a year ago, ADORA suddenly announced that she had debuted as an idol with her debut song "Make U Dance". She is said to have ended her contract with Big Hit Music about 1-2 years ago to focus on debuting with her new management company.
After she entered the industry as an idol, her former colleagues at Big Hit showed their support for her music. Current BTS producers who are also her former colleagues like Pdogg and Slow Rabbit even filmed a reaction video to the song.
It shows that they have a very close and good relationship. But not only that, because she has worked with BTS for a long time, she and BTS also have a very good friendship. Even recently, ADORA revealed that a BTS member contacted her after her debut and raved about her.
She said that although she personally did not contact the members in advance because she also expressed fear that the shadow of BTS' producer is too big and will affect BTS's reputation. But she was surprised when SUGA contacted and complimented her cover of "Spring Day" on Artrock. She said: "Because he cheered me on, as the original artist, I was a bit…I thought that I should have dine better, I remember being a bit shy and very grateful."
But there was another reason why SUGA came to her. ADORA reveals that he asked her to do something with him. Although she doesn't know what the exact project is, SUGA wants her to help him with a chorus. She recounted: "I don’t know what kind of song it is yet, it was just to check on my condition, to see if I could do it. SO I said that I can do anything."
This little revelation got ARMYs excited with anticipation that ADORA would appear on SUGA's solo album since he's been working on it. ADORA was also a name that made many ARMYs fall because she sang the backing song in Seesaw with SUGA very well. Therefore, this cooperation will certainly be very desirable.
